my australian shepherds loved chewing on these and got one each! didn’t seem to disagree with their stomach and took them between 10-20 minutes to work through depending on the dog. the smell is strong and the texture is not appealing for humans but the dogs definitely love it.

Omg! My dog( an 18 lb pug mix) loves these and is so excited to chew on them! I suspect it’s going to take the whole day for him to finish it. He’s an agressive chewer but because he’s small he can’t chew as strongly as a larger dog could. I highly recommend these chews and this company as well. I also use their bully sticks and Harry loves those too. I attached a pic for size reference( this is the 6inch), as I know pics to show size always help me to find the right products. These chews are great to prevent boredom & they make my dog very happy:) He has been chewing non stop since I gave it to him & now he’s taking a nap! UPDATE on 3/26/26 I’ve been using Nature Gnaws since I adopted my first dog from the shelter last year. I am mindful to feed him as healthy as possible and truly believed I was making a good choice for chews with Nature Gnaws! I took my pup for his 1st annual exam yesterday and he has gained a lot of weight! I now have learned the chews are very high in calories. For example a trachea is approx 200, a pig ear, 300 and bully sticks about 300. I literally believed these chews didn’t have a significant amount of calories which was why they weren’t listed. Even at 10% of a treat allowance and only 1 chew, this is still way above even for a large breed dog, but for a small breed, it’s very significant! I had no idea I was feeding my pup the equivalent of two human doughnuts/day if he was a person. I feel Nature Gnaws should be more transparent about listing the ballpark calorie amounts as well as a general nutritional value, such as protein, as calories can be calculated that way too. I feel if the calories were listed, I wouldn’t have purchased as many and viewed them as more of a food item vs a healthy chew. I literally believed I was just satisfying my pups desire to chew, helping to stimulate him as well as it being good for his teeth. Maybe I’m just naive to have thought this as I’m a new dog parent, as I only had cats before my pup. However, brands like Vital Essentials which also sells single ingredient natural chews does list nutritional and calorie info, so clearly it can be done. Overall, I still believe Nature Gnaws is a reputable brand but feel it’s important to be transparent about how many calories we are actully giving our dogs, especially when many dogs are overweight. I even read reviews where it’s asked how many calories or how much protein & the reply is to check the bag, but the bag lists 0 nutritional info so the bag info isn’t helpful for that!

I bought these recently for my dog 120 lb Mastwelier she loves them all in one sitting per treat. Natural, healthy and delicious. They’re the perfect size for a medium to large dog. The value for the quality I was happy with and will be buying again. I feel they are safe for her to eat although I do keep my eye on heart when eating any treat, but these are safe and they do not shaard or split. My pup and I were definitely satisfied with this guy and company.

I purchased these because of the benefits beef trachea have for dogs. It’s a healthy treat that is high in protein but low in fat. I also have a dog with an 80% collapsed trachea that was caused by the vet. I need to do all I can to prevent that last 20% from collapsing as he is just a young guy. Since trachea contains chrondroitin and glucosamine this can help with cartledge along with the added benefits of joint health, arthritis, and dental health. I so saw these in half horizontally because my boys are Papillons with small mouths. The only think ai don’t like is the smell but I got use to that. I’ll put up with anything if it helps the health of my dogs.

My dog devours treats WAY too fast. She’s lab mix and getting older & a senior girl. I wanted something that takes longer to chew & That’s safe to chew for her age. She’s obsessed with these!!! They’re her favorite! Quality is amazing & they ain’t tiny either. Good amount for the price will order again. Because happy dog happy life!

Something peculiar has come up with my dog's behavior with the 3" Beef Trachea treats. I've purchased these via Amazon subscribe & save for awhile now. My dog has always gone nuts for them. The last couple of bags, she will still go to the cabinet where she knows they are stored and "beg" for one, but once she has it and takes it to her chewing spot, she licks it a couple of times and leaves it. She never comes back to it and days later I throw it away. Has anything changed in the processes of getting this product to customers? Storage, shipping, packaging? My own observations, aside from not consistently being 3", the two most recent bags have appeared to have more of the greasy fat looking substance filling in the grooves and stinkier than I recall when I first started purchasing them. I have had to make the decision to stop purchasing these because of her apparent change in consumption. The thing that gets me is that she keeps going back to the cabinet as if she expects the "next" one to be "as it was" but is then is disappointed and abandons it.

My 8 week old puppy loved this more than my 10-year-old dog. My 8 month old dog also tolerated this and did eat some of it they're big and round and Hollow.

My pup loves the taste. And a good value for the money
