Tasty and good value
Very pleased with these dried veggies. Easy to make and great value for a great price. Everyone liked the taste. Recommend these. Shelf life was listed five years I believe. I put them in a dry sealed mason jar.

Super convenient and tastes ok.
I bought this for a friend who is not a cook but needed some way to feed herself while undergoing some illness and surgery recovery. I bought one for myself as well and I have to say the first time I made it, I did not cook it long enough. The second time I made it I put it in the instant pot, cooked it and let it natural pressure release. Popped it in the fridge for that week's meals and it was absolutely delicious. So for me it really just needs extra rehydration time and some seasoning, because it doesn't have a lot of seasoning on its own. I will definitely buy them again because I I'm tired of throwing away vegetables when I don't get around to making soup as planned. It's great to have them available right when I want them.

Good Food, Good Price, Long-Lasting
I am not a prepper in the sense that I have a bug-out bag packed with essentials that I can take with me when I escape into the forest, where I have buried caches. I'm nearly 73 years old, and I'd run out of Levothyroxine within a month anyhow, so I don't do that. However, I have always liked to have enough food on hand that I could survive for a time in the event that something goes terribly wrong. When I was younger, that might have involved losing a job, but today, it might be an interruption in services for one reason or another. However, since I don't really believe that this is likely to occur, I am not buying a ton of survival food, particularly not of the type that I wouldn't eat unless I were starving to death. I mostly buy stuff that will keep without refrigeration and that I would (and do) eat anyway. Dried soup mixes are perfect for this. I like soup and don't hide this stuff in my attic to await an emergency. Rather, I eat it regularly and buy more, so I have a supply of it. This is good soup, and it's far more affordable than buying all of these ingredients fresh, much of which would probably spoil or go to waste before it was eaten. The ingredient list does not look like something put together in a chemistry lab, as is the case with some of the stuff you might find in a can. The ingredients are as follows: carrot flakes, chopped white onions, tomato flakes, peas, celery flakes, green bell peppers, green beans, and parsley flakes. It is non-GMO; if it matters, it is also kosher and vegetarian vegan. Made into soup, it tastes pretty good as is. Simply add water, bring it to a boil, and simmer. Since I am neither a vegetarian nor a vegan, I often add chicken, kielbasa, or another protein, and I usually add a bouillon cube to it for added taste. As said, however, it tastes pretty good without the additions. It has a two-year expiration date, but I can't imagine why it wouldn't be edible long after that date. As for the cancer warning, pretty much everything causes cancer in California, so I wouldn't worry about that. It's probably a reference to the plastic container; don't eat that.

Really Small Jar
I haven't opened this and used any yet but thought I would leave size information for others. The jar is 5 3/8" high and 3 5/8" square. I was very surprised because I had pictured something more like 7 or 8 inches tall. Edit from actual use of the product: My first reaction when I opened the jar was how wonderful it smelled. Fresh and delicious! I decided to try it out as an addition to some ramen soup so I added a heaping tablespoonful to the water to cook it a bit and see how long the cooking time should be. After 3 minutes or so the carrots were at the crispy but cooked stage so I added the noodles. My impression is that the flavors are good but I noticed, just in the small amount that I used, the presence of a lot of stem ends or brown spots on the chunks. I always compost those parts when I prepare fresh vegetables myself. I hope that the producer doesn't count on people not noticing these since the product is sold as "soup mix" where a lot would be added to the pot and not noticed in the soup. Clean up that little problem and I am a big fan of this product.

MOST FLAVORFULL SOUP
THIS MAKES THE BEST TASTING SOUP. THE INGREDIENTS ARE CAREFULLY CHOSEN TO BLEND TOGETHER IN A VERY TASTY MANNER. YOU DO HAVE TO ADD A LOT MORE WATER THAN THEY SAY. THE SOUP ONCE MADE (COOKED) CAN BE KEPT IN THE FRIDGE FOR 1 TO 3 DAYS AND THE VEGETABLES WILL SOFTEN EVEN MORE. THIS SOUP IS ALSO, HIGHLY VERSATILE. I COOKED SOME VEGETABLES AND A HAMBURGER PATTY THE DAY BEFORE IN A CAST IRON PAN. SO DECIDED TO MAKE SOME VEGETABLE PANCAKES AND COOK THEM IN THE LEFT OVER OLIVE OIL IN THE PAN. I GROUND 1 TEASPOON OF FLAXSEED AND ABOUT 2 TABLESPOONS OF THE SOUP MIX IN A COFFEE GRINDER AND ADDED THE MIX TO ABOUT 2 OR THREE HEAPING TABLESPOONS OF UNBLEACHED WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR. ADDED 2 HEAPING TEASPOONS OF WHOLE MILK POWDER (HOOSIER HILL FARM) PLENTY OF WATER MIXED IT. THEN I ADDED 2 EGGS MIXED IT. ADDED IODIZED SALT AND MIXED AGAIN. I POURED A LADLE FULL INTO THE FRYING PAN AND COOKED IT AND THEN TURNED IT OVER AND COOKED ON THE OTHER SIDE. SERVED WITH GARLIC BREAD AND COFFEE AND MILK. DELICIOUS! HAVING FREEZED DRIED STUFF AROUND IS A GREAT IDEA! I HAVE AN OLD CAR AND DURING DEC AND JAN IT SPENT A WHOLE LOT OF TIME IN THE SHOP WAITING FOR PARTS. NOW, I SLIPPED IN THE MUD AND BROKE MY WRIST AND THUMB SO SHOPPING IS DIFFICULT, BUT I GOT MY FREEZE DRIED FOOD SO I WON'T STARVE! THANK YOU! FOR A GREAT PRODUCT!

It's like I'd cooked all day!
These are fabulous. My first adventure into the dehydrated veggie market. Love the assortment of veggies, not too oniony, these go a huge way once poofed back up. I made the gourmet favorite food-ramen. Added quarter cup veggies and better than bouillon along with 2 T of parmesan cheese and extra boiling water to a ramen pkg (lime spicy shrimp). You'd think I invented hearty soup by the way the fam reacted- all out applause! For about 5 minutes work before heating, these will go a long long way. Package great, and NO DUST!! I look forward to using in omelets, pasta sauces and more soups and crockpot stuff. No prep other than opening the container! Even going to try in a veggie potato dish and stir fry if I get brave. I will buy again and feel no need to try other brands because this has everything that makes me look talented. They taste great, poof up most of the way depending on how long you want to heat them to reconstitute, and how soft or crunchy you like them. Might even try in simple sourcream dip with parm- like a knorrs cheat! You'll b very happy and noone will know how ez it is unless you tell. 🙃 They even smell great. Best of all- nothing but veggies. No additives, colors, or chemicals or salt!! It ends up costing less than canned, frozen or fresh and is virtually idiot proof. Go for it and get healthy added in without even trying! Oh, I didn't get buckage, free product or bribes. Just really like the product, hopefully it eases any doubts to try these. One of the first prepper things I've tried, and I'm so proud of me! Bol you won't b sorry.
