These are the best mechanical pencils I have ever used. Super easy to load - slide the top part with the clip and eraser off, drop in lead (I have the piece being used plus 6 extra pieces inside) replace the top. Done. To get more lead out while writing, there's a click button on the body of the pencil that's easy to reach with the thumb, rather than clicking on the top like most pencils. Rubber grip stops fingers from slipping as you write. Best part is that the eraser is visible - no removing any cover to get to it. And it's a very decent size - each one is 1&1/2 inches long. Simply turn the piece at the very top of the pencil to extend or retract it. So many positives! The pack has two pencils, two EXTRA erasers (both come with an eraser attached.) The ONLY downside is that each comes with on one piece of lead inside the pencil and the refill pack has only 6 pieces. If you use this heavily, I do suggest buying extra lead. Any brand works, just make sure it matches the size of the pencil! This one - The 5mm is my favorite, but if you prefer a thicker lead, the 7mm or 9mm are just as terrific!

Great mechanical pencils. Personally use them for schoolwork. Write very neatly and the erasers are way better than those nasty wood pencil erasers.

I am really picky when it comes to mechanical pencils, even though I use them less and less with my reliance on my Surface Pro tablet and stylus. These are the perfect pencils for my needs. The grip is comfortable and the pencil rests easily in my hand. The tip is retractable, which keeps me from stabbing myself. The eraser is extendable and replaceable. My one caveat with the pencil is that, over time, the upper section will become loose if the pencil takes too much abuse. I haven't deducted a star for that since I would expect this with any pencil in this price range.

These are great pencils. As a student, I use pencil for everything I make alot of mistakes and pencil is neater than crossing things out. These pencils are light weight and hold a good supply of lead so you are not required to reload often. The finger grip is the best feature of the pencil. There is a gradual indention where you grip the pencil, there are rubber pieces in horizontal dashes above a rubber ring that makes for a very comfy fit. I also like that you can advance the lead without moving your grip. I grip the pencil between my thumb and middle finger. My index finger very easily reaches the button to bring out more lead. This set includes 2 pencils. I received a black and a green one. They are clear which lets you see your lead supply. The eraser is advanced with a twist at the top. I like that the pencils come with extra erasers. Great pick for a great price. I paid $8.21 for 2 pencils, extra lead and 2 back-up erasers.

I got these to hold the lead grades that I don't use as often. I mark on the side with a fine point sharpie what grade of lead is loaded into the pencil. Not sure how well they would hold up to constant use, but for my purposes, they are very good.

I have been using these pencils for over 10 years now. I have always bought them if possible. However, I have had to switch to another brand. They are still easy to hold and comfortable, but there have been some redesigns that make the pencil jam much easier. Sometimes, the eraser will stop spinning- I can see that there is more there, but it seems to be jammed. Same with the button to release more lead- after a few weeks of using it, the button stopped pushing out more lead, and I was unable to fix it by opening up the pencil and cleaning it out.

Very effective propelling pencil. Easy to refill. Good extendable erasure. Sure grip while writing. Loses a star due to structurally weak clip that has broken on all Clear Points I have owned for 6 months or more, and the removable assembly (that allows for refilling) that becomes increasingly lose over time, which means that it readily falls to pieces in bags.
