Metal Water Bottle Holder - Excellent!
Water bottle holder is very sturdy. The metal is smooth and has a little "give" to fit slightly larger bottles. Using a standard SmartWater bottle, it held the bottle really well. There was very little to no movement. The value is really good for a metal holder. I would definitely recommend this for any bike.

Beautiful Bike Bottle Cage
Previously I purchased a Pro Bike Tool tire pump for my bicycles. There are so many of these available it’s hard to know which will work best for your needs so I randomly selected this brand. It works so well that when I decided to get bottle cages I searched on Amazon and found these which are also made by Pro Bike Tool. They are precisely as described, very light weight, they have attachment fasteners included, are finished beautifully and hold my water bottles securely. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a great quality, great looking bottle cage. I have to add a bit more. The Pro Bike tire pump I bought came with a bracket to mount it where a bottle cage would go. On my bike I have braze on mounts for the cages on the seat tube and head tube to the bottom bracket. The seat tube has a derailleur clamp between the braze ons which mandates a spacer under the cage. Well Pro Bike design engineers must have had their thinking caps on, the tire pump mount is manufactured in a way to clear the derailleur clamp and also provide the correct spacer distance for the bottle cage. I really appreciate it when there is such careful forethought in designing products and I give kudos to Pro Bike for this elegant, simple success!

Can be Hacked to Sit Lower on Frame
Some full-suspension mountain bikes don't allow for a larger water bottle because the water cage is mounted too high (probably for clearance for the rear suspension). On my bike (Trek Fuel EX 7), there's plenty of clearance for the suspension (even when compressed), such that the water bottle could sit lower. However, nobody seems to make a water bottle cage that sits lower. So, I found this one that has a solid back that I could drill a new mounting hole into, allowing the water bottle cage to sit about 1.5" lower, allowing for a larger water bottle. Now, I can easily fit a 33 oz. water bottle. The material was easy to drill through (seems like some aluminum alloy). The water bottle cage comes with low-profile screws. A low-profile screw is necessary if placing it at the top of the cage as I did, so it doesn't interfere with the water bottle. I backed the new hole with a rubber washer, since that part of the back plane doesn't rest flush on the frame. Aside from being "hackable", the cage seems to be well-made. The material is strong and relatively light-weight. The cage with screws weighs just 55 grams. My last cage (typical wire-frame aluminum) weighted 72 grams with screws. Unlike plastic cages, this one can be adjusted to hug the water bottle tighter (if you ride on rough terrain) or looser (if you ride road). You just need to pull the two tabs apart gently or squeeze them together to bend them a bit. Happy riding! Keep the rubber side down!

Great quality and built but smaller than usual.
This is another quality product from Pro Bike Tool, it's made of aluminum, light weight and very sleek yet simple in design. But as others have mentioned, it's diameter is smaller than my previous RL bottle cages by Bontrager. It will fit the old CamelBak Podium, even the Chill version BUT it's going to be really tight that you will have a hard time pulling it out while pedaling at the same time. You can try but it might not be safe and might fall, wipe out or hit something in the process. I had to get off my bike just to get the bottle off the cage just to have a sip. I am not sure if you can try to kind of "flex" the cage a little wider to make it looser a little bit but I just left it as it is. I also have the "new" version of Podiums and they fit perfectly. Like almost any cages, it will also leave small marks or scratches on your bottle especially if they're in there tight.

Very nice bottle cage. Exceeded expectations.
I will say upfront I am a mechanical designer, and I design a lot of metal parts for various applications. I tend to look at items with a very critical eye because of what I do on a daily basis. I must say, I really like this bottle cage. The design is sleek and modern without being distracting. Material was removed to maximize the weight advantage without compromising strength. It is a lightweight metal, powder coated with a black finish that looks great on my orange and black bike (Raleigh Merit 2). Well made, excellent finish and easy to install. Because it is metal, should the finish get a little "beat up" over time, it can be repainted. My bike has 2 bottle holder mount locations on it, and I am seriously considering purchasing a second one. Nice Job everyone.

Great Water Bottle Holder
The description of this water bottle cage, states that it is not compatible with metal insulated water bottles. I have been carrying a Metal Insulated Water Bottle in this Pro Bike Tool water bottle for one and a half years now. Yes it scuffs the paint on both the water bottle cage, and on the insulated metal water bottle. So What. The paint and markings will wear off of plastic water bottles too. It is a water bottle, so it will get dropped sooner or later and the paint will get scratched. This Pro Bike Tool water bottle cage holds my metal insulated water bottle firmly. It takes a little effort to place it in the holder and take it out. BUT I have never had my bottle jump/bounce out. If you need to drink on the run, get a bladder with a hose. If you are worried about scratches and paint rub, leave your bike in the garage, because you are going to dump it sooner or later and scratch it also.

Great!!
What can I say, it looks great and works even better! It’s easy to install and fits perfectly. It keeps the bottle sturdy throughout the whole ride. I’ve used different size bottles and they are all easy to remove from the water bottle holder. Great for the price, I definitely recommend!!

Hard to use
I purchased this bottle holder for the bike that I was giving to my daughter as a birthday gift. It went on easily but when I tried to slide the water bottle in, it took a great deal of effort to get the bottle all of the way in. I had purchased the correct sized bottle beforehand so I was sure that there would be no problem with the fit. Wrong!!! There was no way that my daughter would be able to use this holder without hopping off her bike and wrestling to get the bottle out and putting it back in. We removed this holder and I purchased a less expensive one at Lowes. Easily mounted it and the water bottle slides easily in and out. Also holds bottle securely. My daughter says that it has worked great for her. She can grab a drink easily while riding and place it back in with ease. I'd recommend purchasing this type of product from a store or bike shop.

No Nonsense Water Bottle Holder
The water bottle cage is lightweight and durable. It was quick and easy to install. The material is flexible enough to hold varying sizes, including my 16 oz aluminum S'well bottle. The specific design of the cage makes this possible. Once installed, I haven't needed to think about it again; I just use it as intended. For these reasons, I give this item a 5 star rating. * I have included photos to show the 2 possible setups on my bike. Get out there and cycle, but stay hydrated!

Excellent product and serious prompt after-sales support
Lightweight, sturdy & practical product. Easy to install and also looks good. I had a minor problem: the bolts weren't included in the package, but I was able to use the old ones. When I contacted ProBike I got a very quick helpful response: the bolts sent to me & I received a partial refund to compensate for the inconvenience. Given the quality of the product & the service provided for a rather minor problem I won't hesitate to do business with them again.
