Shira TMPower Adapter Charger for Summer Infant InView Digital Color Monitor #28650 New 2015 Style Replacement

I used this for my first generation Summer Infant Baby Touch video monitor. This was a perfect replacement. The original cable worked for about 7 years, then just stopped. That seems to be the trend with this brand of video monitors. I'd still buy mine again, even with this flaw. Replacing a power adapter after 7 years of use, is easy.FYI...you can't just use any power adapters on any electronics. Yes, the voltage and Hz need to match, but most importantly, the polarity of your electronics must match the polarity of the adapter. I took a picture of the polarity symbols on my camera and posted it with this review. The same symbol will be on the plug section of any power adapter. The polarity of Summer Infant cameras and monitors are not all the same. Make sure you check this before buying any power adapter. I noticed people posting that their camera or monitor went completely dead after buying a new adapter. Not matching the polarity will do that. Some vendors claim that their power adapters work with all Summer Infant items. They don't, because of the polarity differences.

Works well. The one problem is that the actual outlet plug into the Summer Camera unit is *slightly* looser than the factory version. But otherwise, no issues.

Worked great with our monitor!! So happy to not have to buy another monitor when our cord got a short in it.
