Amazon Essentials Plated Sterling Silver Cubic Zirconia Stud Earrings (Round & Princess)

These are absolutely beautiful! Perfect size and actually look real.

Being a photographer, I've been more interested in spending my money on camera gear, which I've accumulated quite a lot of over the years. What does this have to do with my review of these gorgeous studs? Well, over time I sold my real diamonds - earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, etc. - that I'd been given as gifts from my ex, and used the money to help pay for my massive amount of photography gear. But now I wish I still had some of the basics, so I decided to start replacing some of the must-have pieces like earring studs and drop necklaces, but I didn't want (or need) real diamonds as long as the CZs looked real and were made of quality materials. This pair fits the bill, and then some! I had another pair (from a different manufacturer) but lost one of the studs so this was a replacement pair. It's unbelievably gorgeous, shiny, looks real (I bought the 2ctw pair - 1ct each), and the backer fits snugly on the post and the size is perfect. The prongs are tight and I have no worries about losing them when I fiddle with my hair (which I do often by habit!). I'd lost my other earring because the backer was loose, and now I don't have to worry. I'll be buying more CZ basics from Amazon's curated collection for sure! In fact, I just ordered a beautiful right-hand ring and I can't wait till it arrives! So if you're on the fence about buying these, whether for yourself, your lady, or a gift for someone else - jump off the fence and get them! They're beautiful accents for your ears without breaking the bank (or breaking the bank of someone buying them for you - I'd rather use that money for a trip that both of us can take, or something else more useful than real diamonds that don't do any more for me than quality CZ diamonds!)

I bought the round version of these earrings and I’m obsessed! They are incredibly shiny and catch the light beautifully—I get compliments every time I wear them. They look way more expensive than they are, and the classic style goes with everything. One of the best parts? I don’t stress about losing one because they’re so affordable—but they definitely don’t look cheap. Comfortable to wear all day and haven’t irritated my ears at all. Highly recommend if you want that diamond-stud look without the price tag!

These are cute. I like them. They are a pretty light weight, they're not going to be heavy like a $100 cz set, but that's fine by me because I don't want a big heavy earring hurting my ears all day. I was hoping to sleep in these but the posts are too long for that. OTOH, it makes it easy to put on. It's probably good if you have thick earlobes too. To save on costs they ship these in a brown bag with the earrings in a plastic baggie. I imagine some get squashed but that's the risk of paying $10-15 bucks for 'diamond' earrings. Probably not the best for directly shipping to someone as a gift unless you know them well and explain beforehand how they'll receive it. They are sparkly enough. Not jaw dropping. It all depends what you're looking for. Personally, I'm not looking to fool anybody into thinking I have $3k in my ears so I'm good. Enjoy!

Love the earrings, but I purchased the 8.5 mm and they are big stones. The sparkle and color is remarkable and look real. Easy to put on, hopefully tarnish resistant, but my left earlobe was irritated from wear. Supposedly they are stainless steel post. I am happy with the purchase and plan to continue wearing them!!!

This literally just arrived on my doorstep (Friday 1PM) in perfect condition inside an unpadded envelope. I ordered Tuesday around midnight or just after, with my trial of Amazon Prime. My first reaction when I opened the box was, "Oh wow!!!" Blown away by the quality. For under ten bucks (with my Valentine's Day 30 per cent off code), I wasn't expecting much--maybe something similar to what I'd find at a mall or supermarket. Let me tell you, these look expensive! The first thing I did was look for the .925 stamp, and yes there it was. I cannot believe what a good deal this is! For PLATINUM-plated studs. And the CZ's are of great quality too; they catch a lot of light and throw back fire and sparkle. The size I bought (4 carat total weight, 2 carats each) are large and statement-making, but that's what I wanted. (See my pic for size reference). I haven't put them on yet, but will update my review if anything changes. This would be an awesome gift for those gentlemen wanting to impress their ladies with an expensive-looking gift.....for the cost of lunch! I kid you not, I saw earrings with almost the same setting in 18k white gold and real 4 CT TW diamonds going on a reputable jewelry website for--sit down--twenty seven thousand dollars!!!! I don't know about you, but if you've got $27k to blow then buy me these earrings off Amazon and a car with the other $26,990. Kthnxbye.

Pretty but too heavy.

These are a classic pair of earrings that sparkle like diamonds at the tiniest fraction of the cost! I wouldn't dare buy a pair of diamond studs because I tend to lose earrings, usually just one of a pair. For this low price, I could replace them anytime that happened. The one carat size is just perfect for my ears and I'm adding a photo to illustrate that size on a woman's ear. I love the classic round cut with the four prong setting. Very sparkly too! The brilliance is comparable to that of diamonds. I don't think you could tell the difference unless you were a jeweler with a trained eye. I think the larger sizes look less genuine. The one carat size looks very elegant and is not at all gaudy or phony looking. I could wear them with anything from casual to dressy. You won't find anything else that looks this nice for the price! They are very light and fit so comfortably that I have even slept in them without them bothering me. The posts are thin so you need to be careful not to bend them. I've been wearing them often and haven't had any problems with them. Although I have sensitive skin, I haven't had any problem with the platinum plated silver posts. They are .925 Sterling Silver, meaning they are 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper which is a good combo for durability while keeping the silver sparkly.

What's not to like? I just love them. 7.5mm- not too large, or too small, metal backing that clicks at a perforation like it's supposed to. Thank you!
