Outdoor versatile cooler that also stores baby milk like a champ
I read about this in an outdoor magazine and thought it would be a great cooler with lots of variability. That is an understatement. This cooler has been worth every bit of the relatively cheap price tag and out performs "other brands." Empty, it packs flat/light/compact and once filled....it truly keeps ice for 24 hours when fulll. It will easily hold 10-12 normal cans (~8-9 16oz screw top "cans/bottles," depending on the ice level). The ice doesn't melt, it is waterproof and the drinks stay cold. The insulation (there is a valve you can inflate the insulation with more are than what is in there if you want to reduce the air inside around the ice) is soft and makes it comfortable to wear over your shoulder/back. Let me bring up the real reason it has gained so much favor in our house...baby milk storage. We have flown a lot recently and needed a way to carry multiple bottles of milk through security. Further, a few hotels didn't have a way to freeze/keep the milk cold. Enter the IceMule. Packed flat in carry-on. Once there, Ice machine to fill up and simply placed the milk in the cooler, sealed as instructed and instant refrigerator in the room. Further, it is compact enough to come through TSA (Vegas, Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Austin) without issue. Still have to test the milk but that has nothing to do with the IceMule. The contents traveled without issue, never had a leak and stayed near freezing cold (cold as ice) the whole time. It is compact and didn't take up any room above in luggage (slides into those small spots easily). I know it wasn't designed for the milk storage/transport market...but I challenge anyone to find a better/easier/simpler solution to haul/store larger volumes of very important liquid. Everyone else knows did does well in the outdoor/camping/adventure market. Bravo.

Nice, space-saving, lightweight cooler for our family
The ICEMULE backpack cooler is a nice addition to our families' gear for active outdoor and traveling getaways. I do not use this directly, my wife primarily, but have benefited from that use, adding 1 or 2 drinks for me with the items she packs. It feels light to me when empty or full, and she says it is also easy to use and retains ice well, her experience has been over a day, of warm weather and traveling, though not in direct sun. What I find useful and of good design is that you can inflate the bag somewhat, not sacrificing internal storage space, and adding to the insulating properties of the bag, as well as making it somewhat buoyant. While we weren't swimming, we did happen to drop the bag in a pool by mistake and it was floating a bit, comfortably by the look of it, before we got someone to get it and the drinks out. We've had this bad since July and I will update any new findings. It has served us well during light trails near Big Sur and touring at Hearst Castle. In that time, I would easily recommend this as a simple, no-frills cooler backpack. Thanks for reading.

Absolutely the Best Travel Cooler!
Absolutely Incredible Cooler! I use this ICEMULE Classic Cooler for long international flights — I pack it with ice packs, and even after 24 hours of traveling between continents, everything inside is still cold, just like when I packed it! It’s honestly the only product I’ve found that truly keeps food cool for that long. It’s lightweight, easy to carry hands-free, completely waterproof, and even floats — perfect for all kinds of trips. Worth every penny! Really great job, ICEMULE team — I’m so impressed and happy with this cooler. Thank you!

Prime day score
Got this for almost half the price on prime day and I have to say it might be the best purchase. I’ve made this year so far. My boyfriend was sick and tired of trying to pull a heavy cooler in the sand. What a pain in the ass. Sounds like a good idea but then when you’re actually there, dredging it through the sand, you realize those wheels are not really gonna roll. They gave me the idea to look for a backpack cooler since we don’t really take too much. I happen to see this on prime day and the reviews were great so I thought I’d give it a try and I’ll tell you what, it keeps everything ice cold the ice still stays frozen three hours later there’s still Ice . I mean, I’m not gonna lie a lot of it turns to water, but I don’t even know if it’s possible for that not happen anyway, this thing looks pretty durable. I’ve used it only two times so far but I am a happy camper. I love my beach access and this now makes it easier for me to take quick trips.

Lots of positives and a few drawbacks
Generally speaking, this was a great cooler. It's the first of this type that we've purchased (all of our others are the hard, box type), and worked well for what we needed it for... a tropical vacation where we wanted the ability to bring our own drinks to the beach. Below are the pros and cons of the IceMule: PROS: - Awesome to pack in a suitcase. I was able to roll this up and place it along one side in my suitcase. This is simply not something you can do with a "regular " cooler. - Quality. While we've only used it for the one trip, it seems really well made. I expect it to last for years. - Keeps things cold. While it didn't keep things cold as long as we expected (it worked for the day, but by the next morning, all of the ice had melted and the water wasn't that cold anymore), it definitely worked for our purposes. - Design/look: Pretty easy and comfortable to carry on your shoulder. CONS: - Not a lot. I really like the cooler. I guess the only thing I was a little disappointed about was that we filled it with ice and drinks about noon one day. Ice was partially melted that evening, and totally melted by the next morning. Maybe that's the norm. I just expected some magical freezer like effect I guess ;). If you're looking for a collapsible cooler, this one is great. So much less expensive than some other brands (you know the one I'm talking about), but works well, is easy to carry and even easier to pack, and based on what I can tell in owning one for a short time, is well made.

Perfect cooler
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Easy to carry, floats for pool or lake use. Holds 24 cans plus ice. Shoulder strap makes it easy to carry. Roll down style for holding less. Doesn’t leak when ice melts! Keeps cold all day at the beach!

Great value and portability
Great product from a Grizzly 20 hard cooler, Yeti 12 Hopper & 24 Back Flip cooler owner. The Ice Mule’s are my favorite because I am less worried about them on the beach, in the kayak, on the paddle board. Without loops, zippers, and other fabrics, aside from cross chest strap, there little to catch dirt and sand. They wipe down easily. Most importantly, they keep ice for a long time. Have filled with ice, sat on beach all day in sun and shade, and had ice at the end of the day, especially when following the correct closure process of 3 folds, not rolling closed. “To be fhair,” they do not keep ice as long as the other coolers, but IMO they are not meant to, and that does not make them bad. I use the mediums in the kayaks as the large is very, very large when fully loaded. In addition, they roll up tightly when not in use. I am extremely happy with the Ice Mule coolers.

Excellent space saving cooler solution
I have been editing and adding what I take camping for the last couple years. I was looking for a very simple solution to my particular needs. It needed to save space, keep ice for about 12 hours and not be so expensive or camping chic that I worried about theft like I would with a Yeti. This hit the mark. Space: The bag is big enough to hold a 10 lb bag of ice when fully expanded. There is a knob on the side that lets in air or helps purge the air when folding up. Just open the knob and blow into it like you would for a camping pillow or balloon to fill it (the air acts as an insulator) and close it. Open again and purge the air when ready to fold up. When folded and compressed, there is a strap that helps keep it closed. Once fully purged and folded, it takes up very little room in the panniers. Perfect. Ice: I'm away from the camp site for most of the day typically. In the mornings, I would finish the morning routine and usually had a half bag of ice left in the bag after sitting all night and some of the previous day. I'd dump out the unused ice, dry the bag and pack it in a pannier. After I was done with the day's ride, I'd stop and get an ice bag and cinch it to the bike with the straps. From about 6pm to 8AM - kept the ice frozen and usable. I'd usually lose about 1/4 of the ice to melt but that was fine for me. This was about individual usage. excellent all the way around.

Perfect size and great colour
Just what I wanted for days out, the size is perfect for drinks and snacks for one or two. I have a bigger version of this pack and can’t recommend them enough, ice does remain solid inside for 12 hours + without melting, I haven’t tested it for longer periods yet, and it is very comfortable to carry. Despite being quite pricey when including shipping from the States I wouldn’t consider any other now because it delivers on all front. Another plus point my ICEMULE arrived well ahead of schedule in time for the heatwave :))

A perfect soft cooler that keeps ice and drinks ice cold!
I purchased this cooler for my sea kayak. It fits in the forward and rear kayak compartment and it fits perfectly and keeps ice and food and drinks cold over night. We kayak in the heat of the summer and it is amazing to enjoy ice and a cold drink after a long hot day. The soft shape can easily fit in the hold and the optional air compartment extends the life of ice a lot longer than i would have imagined.. a great buy and now my primary cooler for boating!

UTIL Y LIGERA
Es util y ligera, no ocupa espacio cuando no la estas usando. Conserva la temperatura, ya sea frio o calor, pero en cuanto a conservar los hielos no duran mas de 12 horas
