Even with him falling every now and again the scooter still functioned well and is durable as well. It was ready to use right out of the box. This is a great scooter so far. I got it for my 8 year old and we went on a ride for several miles around the neighborhood and it maintained its top speed and charge very well. It was easy to assemble, just slide the handlebar and tighten two base hex screws with the provided allen wrench. It is also safe with a sturdy hand brake and a throttle button that my son controls to speed up and slow down. Hit the brake and it disengages the motor. The motor doesn't start until the scooter is in motion at 3mph so there isn't a jerking motion when he hits the throttle button. And it's a Razor so it is very sturdy. Great job Razor!!

Bought for a kiddo that was just turned 10 and she was almost too tall. Safety is a concern. The scooter is fast which is fine but the tires are almost a hard plastic material and small. I would not recommend this to anyone to ride if 5 ft or taller as the handle bars do not adjust and sit low, which could have been my negligence upon research. Would not recommend for any surfaces other than smooth. Bumpy Asphault is very uncomfortable and unsafe which is unfortunate but most of our area is this way. Otherwise packaging, assembly, and charging was easy and direct.

Bought this as a present for my son, who turned 7 this year. He weighs about 70lbs. He absolutely loves this little scooter. He rides it every chance he gets. We've had it about 3 months now, and it still runs perfectly. It has more than enough power for street use, and some light off-roading.. We haven't actually tested its limits, because my son knows to take care of it so it will last him. As far as the charge goes, I'd say that we usually get about 4 hours of continuous use out of it.. Which is outstanding considering I was only expecting about less than half of that, but we use it mainly on level ground. It is a bit bulky, and heavy. But with everything considered, Its a great little unit. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
