I'm pretty loyal to Mizuno and I really like this shoe
I run about 12 miles a week and also lift at the gym 3 days/week. I want a shoe that I can wear to do both. I have been wearing Mizuno Enigma 5 for 2 years. I have a pair in black and another pair in blue. Dividing my miles and time between those shoes has increased the lifespan. Problem is - now they need replaced but the Enigma has been discontinued. When I find a shoe I like, I want to buy it again. Mizuno recommended the Sky 5 or the Wave Rider 25 to replace the Enigma. I was not at all fond of the Sky 5. I thought the fit was pretty good - length, width, room in toe box - but I could not get used to the amount of cushion in the front of the shoe. Maybe that's what someone wants that runs 50 miles a week but it was not for me. I thought my socks had bunched up or maybe the insert was deformed. Nope. Just an awkward feel in the toe box. After that shoe did not work out, I got the Mizuno Wave Rider 24 and love it. Fits and feels just like my Enigma 5. Just the right amount of cushion in a neutral shoe. I'm still pretty brand-loyal to Mizuno. I was disappointed the Sky 5 was not a good fit for me but I'm happy to recommend the Wave Rider 24

Good shoe for walking. Customer support is REALLY good.
I bought these for walking, not running. I liked the way they fit, but after 6 months, the cushioning behind my right foot wore away (see pic.) It caused my foot to bleed through my sock. Mizuno customer support was very helpful, told me that they had a 1-year warranty, and shipped a new pair. The fault may have been mine, if the shoe wasn't laced as tightly as it should have been. I've never had a problem with blisters before, so I'm crossing my fingers that the new pair holds up better.

Instantly Comfortable
The shoes arrived a little more than an hour ago. I put them on and they were immediately comfortable. I have had shoes that took a number of days or longer than a week to feel the way these did straight out of the box. I went out to give them a road test. Upon returning, I went back online and ordered a second pair (different color) so I can wear them every other day instead of the same pair day after day. I ordered the 24s instead of going for the 25s. Since I am happy with the 24s, instead of waiting until the present pair wears out, I ordered the second pair. I have had the experience where I have really liked a pair of running shoes and the next year the company only offered the latest model. (Which also costed more too.)

Looks good so far
They do seem nice. The 4 was primarily due to initial fit and feel, they seem to need maybe a week to break in. I'm curious about the lifespan and will try to update after a while if they are holding up. Typically the Mizuno shoes will last a year of good use yet my last pair of a difderent version lasted about 4 months. I walk a lot at work so wantes to try the softer sole but it these wear out too soon then I'll go back to the creation or prophecy versions

Very happy jogging in these
I had Mizunos years ago and now I wish I stuck with them. Lots of energy in rebound and control of the step. Extremely comfortable. It would be a little tight for a walking shoe, but for jogging it's fantastic. I get sore feet easily and now I just got home after this last run and felt just fine.

Mizuno sneakers never disappoint!
I have gone through a couple other pairs of Mizuno sneakers and wore them out. They are that comfortable and they look very nice as well. I am very happy with my latest pair. They fit true to size and I have wide feet so I am very happy they make them to fit me perfectly. I will remain a Mizuno customer so long as the shoes stay this great!

Mizuno sizing compared to Hoka and New Balance.
This is my first pair of Mizuno shoes, and the sizing and the necessary return has me leaving the brand before the first run. I wear Hoka One One and New Balance Cumulus 22 and New Balance 1080v and Rebel models, all in size 9 Wide. Those shoes all fit ideally out of the box in my usual thin compression socks. But with Mizuno in Size 9 Wide and same socks, it’s a no go. The width is still, surprisingly, too narrow. Checked label in shoe, and yep, it’s a 9 Wide. So these run very narrow, especially as I’m really between a Medium and a Wide (but opt for Wide) on those other shoes. The in front of the great toe of the Mizuno has ample room, one thumb, so a 9.5 Wide would be too long for me. The narrowness of this shoe is from the mid-foot all the way through toe box, but the heel area is fine. This is super sad as this is far and away the best selling Mizuno model, and is a wonderful general purpose shoe by all accounts. Since Mizuno doesn’t fit me, it’s unlikely that I will ever again try this brand. I notice in some reviews, people suffering with the same tightness and trying to compensate with adding sizes or simply returning the shoes. I’m returning mine. Hope this sizing comparison helps another buyer. Goodbye Mizuno, a potential lifelong partnership is over on the first date.

Great quality running shoes
Good quality product. I have been using them for a few months, still happy with them. No issues yet. These runners are on the firm side, not as cushioned as my previous pair of Asus Nimbus, but they still are comfortable. If you do not mind rather firm, under-cushioned foot support, go for Mizuno.

Great shoes for running or long walks
I bought this product to help run again safely without pain as I have damage my Achilles’ tendon over a year ago and still suffers time to time when running. Those shoes have help me greatly in that matter plus they are comfortable and easy to clean.
