NURI Portuguese Sardines in Spiced Tomato Sauce - 4 Pack - (4.4 oz cans)

Nuri has ruined Sardines for me. It's like all other brands I buy at the store can't even come close to the flavor and quality of Nuri's. They are more expensive, but worth it. These Spiced in Tomato Sauce or the Spiced in Olive Oil are my favorites.

Now this is quality! I watched a documentary on the company and just had to try it myself, I was not disappointed at all! The vegetables were so tender and flavorful I really enjoyed reaching the bottom of the tin to get to them. The red sauce isn't overpowering, it complements the fish in a tasty, delicious way. speaking of the fish they are well washed and tender not too salty nor overwhelming in fishiness. I think I'll eat my next tin over spaghetti since the flavor is close to Puttanesca that I bet it would be downright delicious. Best tin of fish I've ever had.

These are absolutely delicious sardines. The first can straight out of the can. Second, can I put over rice beautiful little pepper on the bottom I highly recommend

I don't like sardines or anchovies. At all. I like these. That's the simple review. These are outstanding. Firm, meaty, and not oily fish. The spice is medium rare. You'll feel it but you won't be mad at it. 11/10 new Subscribe and Save monthly.

Like alot of people here, I saw the Youtube video about the Nuri factory and came here and bought them. First off, these are, bar-none the BEST sardines you can buy. They are so far and away better than anything you can get at a grocery store it almost seems like a different fish entirely. Which leads me to the second point of even IF you have tried sardines in the past, Nuri sardines are so good you may actually change your mind about them. You are paying roughly $8.00 per can, but you can taste every ounce of that extra money. As to the spiced tomato variety specifically, you will be shocked at how rich the tomato sauce is and how much of a kick the spices give it. Juts an exceptional product, as one would expect after watching the video.

Nuri sardines are top-quality fish, meticulously prepared and packed. Of the several varieties that I have tried, this one is my favorite because of the exquisite spiced tomato sauce. To my taste it is a perfectly balanced creation of complementary flavors that far surpasses the sum of its parts. No single ingredient overpowers or is even obvious; not even the chilies, yet the combination is sublime.

From Portugal and so very delicious. I first tried the 4 mixed pack. Decided that the Spicy tomato (their family’s secret) was my favorite. Perfect size for one with some toasted baguette. No smell and good for your health. The packaging done by hand by women is a “work of Art” !!
