Do these have parts manufactured outside the UK?  If yes, where is the country of manufacture?

Most Parker products, including the standard Jotters and refills, are now made in France.  I don't know if Parker still does any manufacturing in UK. The Jotter XL that I purchased was manufactured in China though the refill is made in France. That said the quality is excellent, no different than French made Parker as far as I can tell.

What is the Parker refill size number?

The standard Parker-style ballpoint refill- a high capacity refill that's sort of bottle-shaped- is also known as the G2 Refill. It is available from many manufacturers besides Parker and is something of a world standard. HOWEVER take a good look at yours and make sure the one you get looks the same, because G2 could also mean a refill for the Pilot G2 Gel Pen. The G2 Gel Pen is one of the most popular semi-disposable gel pens there is. Its refill is a narrower point attached to a transparent plastic cylinder-straw ink reservoir, with an open back end.

(The Parker G2 ballpoint has a plugged back end with a unique-shaped fitting. The oddly shaped plug at the back of the G2 is designed to rotate the point of the pen about a quarter turn, I think, every time you click the button to extend the point. I am so ancient that I can remember this was a big selling point when they advertised these pens on TV commercials because rotating the point like this was supposed to make it wear evenly and last longer. Yes, in practical terms that is probably as silly as it sounds.)

To make things even more confusing there are Parker-G2 style refills that are gel pens or roller balls as well as ballpoints from a myriad of manufacturers, and hybrid ballpoints as well. Parker's current refills are what would have been considered a hybrid ballpoint because hybrids write so nicely that they've almost displaced original ballpoint types. Schmidt (from Germany) makes at least two different lines of Parker-G2 style refills. The Easyflow 9000 is especially smooth and easy writing but their others are good too and are available in more colors. Jetstream, who were the first hybrid ballpoint brand I encountered, makes Parker-G2 hybrid ballpoint refills now. They even make their own pen that uses them, as well as other refills for other styles of pen.

Is the silver version of this pen entirely stainless steel or is there a coating on the barrel?

The pen is made of top quality material. The entire pen is made of stainless steel that was the reason why I have chosen this pen. For the workmanship and the quality. Best pen I have ever purchased.
