Depending on what’s being made, hot glue (glue gun) is the way I stuck them to my decoration although the pumpkins I did make two little holes in the base and wired them on as they are a bit heavy for glue

Could these go in water for floating vase

I think they could I made a wreath with the leaves and pumpkins, the pumpkins are very light so would float
