This item is just like all the others I have ordered from Amazon similar to it.After about just 1 month of continued daily use this item lost its resitance in the ring adjustment. It now literally dangles loosely when u turn the phone upside down. This has also caused it to not function as described AT ALL. This product no longer holds up when adjusting it to prop like kickstand for viewing. I wish I had NEVER WASTED my money on this !

So here in California when it heats up in the car the 3M glue tape melted and fell off after a short time so I went to an auto parts store and got some plastic weld and glued this onto the back of the phone and have not had a problem since. The product I used was JB Weld Plastic Bonder (about $7) and I it comes in handy for other projects around the house. Anyway, the magnet is the perfect thickness and never falls off while driving and the ring is a thick high quality steel that has lasted about two years now with no problems. If there were high quality ring holders out there already attached to a case I'd purchase that but I have yet to see a ring holder that looks this good. And because the ring is thick and made of steel and spins well around the ring, it feels great to hold and it's like having a fidget spinner when you need one!!! LOL. Anyway, it's of the best quality you're going to find when it comes to ring holders. The only issue is the double sided tape... which I don't thin any company can fix this issue since you can't get much better than 3M. I think if all cases you will have to use plastic weld for find some other tape that can handle being in a hot car without melting. Hope this helped!!!

It was good but after a couple of months the ring just flops around freely and is worthless as a kickstand

Had the item for about a month and the ring failed on the right side. It seems the screw will come out preventing it from staying in position.Nice looking product

Haved tried many brand's of cell phone ring holder's and this one is by far the best there is.
