Smells Amazing 👏 🤩

This was a staple for me late 90s-early 2000s. I got it from an adorable boutique next to my salon I worked. It wasnt overpowering but had a subtle sweet lingering scent. Everyone always comment on it. I moved away and forgot about it once I used my last bottle. I since forgot about it until one day I was on a beauty site and there it was- Comptoir Sud Pacifque Vanilla Abricot. I knew I had to have it! It brought back so many youthful memories and reminded me of a time when I was carefree. Upon arrival, I quickly tried it on and it was just as remembered- a subtle sweetness with a little spicy hint of something different, not overpowering at all. I only gave it 4 stars for longevity simple because it isnt one of those types of fragrance that stays super strong all day, it fades over time but the fading is what I like because it isnt overwhelming and just when you think it is gone, you get a subtle whiff or someone gets close to you and says you smell so good!

I absolutely LOVE this perfume. I have tried almost every vanilla perfume out there and I keep coming back to this one. If you don’t love gourmand scents, this one is not for you. But if you love smelling like a delicious whipped cream cupcake, this is it! The scent does fade fairly quickly but I love catching a secret whiff of it from my clothes or hair when I move. It’s one of those that someone has to be really close to you to smell it on your skin. It’s intimate. But very sweet. A good summer scent.

Smells gorgeous. Have loved since the early 2000’s

I’ve been wearing this perfume for over 20 years. I get compliments on it daily, all my closest friends have received as gifts from me to them because they love it and then they start buying more and more, the problem is the original manufacturer is in Paris so I have yet to come close to the exact same quality as I received from Paris many years ago. Too much alcohol or water down is put in some bottles that have the same manufacturer label. Check out my photos This one was good I’ve reached out to the real manufacturer in Paris, and the only way I can purchase from them is by paying the euro which cost more. Hopefully I’m gonna take a trip over there soon and I will stock up. Other than that, it looks like I’ve been ordering from a US manufacturer, is what they call themselves….the US distributor? and I’m finding out they are not real - Paris France manufactured told me the only way to purchase it in America was through Amazon. That is the only way that they could sell it at this time for US dollars. So I immediately went to Amazon and I ordered a small bottle. Usually, I always order the larger 100 mL b/c they have sales and the real Paris France has sales too, in fact when you order the 100 mL bottle, you typically get two sample bottles of something else, I’ve never received one sample bottle from the US manufacturer because the US manufacturer is not real. How they get away with selling this perfume is beyond me because I’ve been buying it for at least 15 years I spoke to the French Paris manufacturer, they told me the only place that they sell this is on Amazon for now I used to be able to get it from Sephora. I have no idea why Sephora stopped selling it maybe because they were getting sold from the so-called US manufacturer & there is no such thing, their is much more alcohol watered down Verison. Even compared to this company. I’m not sure this manufacturer is the real one, but it’s as close as I’ve been able to get to the one from Paris. I’m not even sure who the seller is because it looks like Amazon‘s is the seller, so I’ll do some digging and I’ll come back and re-review when I find more info out. Anyway, this is the most amazing smelling vanilla apricot light perfume that you’ll ever wear, I don’t know what happened but several years 15 years ago I started to have an issue just with regular perfume I used to be able to wear Gucci Rush, or Victor-Rolf flowerbomb, Jador by Dior. - I can’t wear any of them anymore. They give me an instant migraine so something changed inside internally with me and I can only wear the lightest sense of vanilla and/or fruity ones but most of them have to have a vanilla base. I love this company because they list their top, middle and bottom notes, & that’s super important when you have things that give you migraines! I definitely can recommend this company/manufacture of this perfume to anyone if you would like to try a lighter smelling perfume. If I find out that this is actually coming from France, which is the manufacture named: Comptior Sud Pacifique -vanilla apricot is their number one selling perfume. They do have several others, but this is the only one I can wear & maybe the vanilla Banane another light vanilla/banana smell. Again anything vanilla & fruity mix is a nice light scent I definitely recommend to try this if you have an issue with the heavier perfumes. They are the most amazing company, and the one from the US manufacturing is not real - if you purchased this from any store randomly, I would question how it is received BC they water it down with alcohol and you can clearly tell the difference when you have the real thing in your hands I’m gonna find out if this actually came from Paris if so, I will come back and be giving it 5 stars ⭐️ Definitely recommend this company,, and Vanilla Apricot is there top selling perfume! Delicioso. Yummy smelling, I get constant compliments that I smell like a cake or cookie. It’s just a very yummy light smell. Just like Marilyn Monroe 🤩❤️

I get many compliments on this fragrance. I was looking for a dupe on Vanilla Abricot that Victoria’s Secret made back in the 90s. Sadly, it’s discontinued. That did not deter me from reading reviews from verified buyers and beauty product reviews. It’s a bit pricey for my liking. That did not stop me from ordering another bottle cause hey, SELF-CARE. The fragrance is not strong and it’ll last pretty much all day. By all day, I’m taking about a 12 hour shift. It’s just the right amount of sweet and sexy. People will stop you and ask you the name of this scent. I actually had a woman close her eyes and lean in to sniff my neck.(I know, random but totally normal in Southern California) You will not regret buying this! Splurge a little and treat yourself. This is what you wear if you want to smell edible. For a long time I've said my scent goal is to smell like a cupcake. Done! Actual comments I've gotten while wearing this: "It smells like *deep inhale*... I don't know. It smells really good in here." "Does it smell like cookies in here?" "*Sniff* Do you smell like vanilla? Yum! You smell like candy!" "It smells like Pixie Sticks in here." "Is that vanilla you're wearing?" I responded yes, I found a new vanilla perfume that I'm obsessed with. His response: "Yeah, well I am too, now!" My only note would be that it could last longer. The scent does stick around for hours, but only when you directly sniff your skin. So you and your significant other who gets very close can enjoy it for a while. As far as other people smelling it, it probably only lasts an hour - maybe two. I'm okay with putting on a ton of it and re-applying as needed, but of course that means I'm going to go through it way too fast. Oh well, WORTH IT!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this scent and took me a bit just to stop hoarding the small sample just to get a bottle! The small lasts ALL DAY and don’t leave a bad smell after it goes away like some do. To me the candy sugar it the main scent you smell over the rest and not over powering where someone will have a breathing issue like most perfumes do.

Not impressed! Very basic, smells like any other fruity body spray and not long lasting, also very tiny bottle. For me it didn’t smell like heaven as someone wrote on previous reviews

I absolutely love this fragrance - it’s vanilla, but with a twist. No joke, every day that I wear it, at least one customer per day will come into my store and ask what smells good. I sheepishly reply with, “Well, that’s me!” It’s light, but has all-day staying power, even when I can’t smell it, others can. It really is a perfect everyday fragrance to wear.

LOVE this scent

This has the best smell!! It’s strong enough to be make an impression without being overly pungent. It’s sweet and warm. If you don’t like floral or too perfumed smells this is for you!
