Why do my stickers look full of air bubbles from outside

First make sure the surface is smooth, clean and dry, then slide on it (from the centre outward) the edge of a credit card (or the back of a book, or anything thin and rigid). This will help get rid of any trapped air and the sticker will adhere better.

I have stuck some on a shop window display. Hoping to peel them off and put back onto sheet they came on.

No these don’t leave a sticky mess and I was able to pop some back on the paper and Reuse them

Would these stick to cardboard as well?

Probably not as they cling to the surface rather than stick. You have to wet the surface beforehand.
