Q: Could they trap moisture underneath the rubber discs? We have a painted surface with some texture, a bit like big grains of sand with paint on top.

My guess is that they could because there is no way to prevent water from running between the discs and the surface they are on. However, they are small and you only need to use 3 to lift a pot so it's nothing like the way a full bottom of a pot would trap moisture. If there is a heavy pot placed on them with a lot of pressure, it would probably stay dry unless there is tons of water flowing. If your surface has texture and is a bit uneven you might get more seepage but since they are a hard rubber, if there is a lot of weight on them they could sit flush by being slightly mushed. Hope that helps, it hasn't been an issue for me, I use then on concrete.

Q: I bought saucers from home depot and they still stain the ground. Can we put these rubber risers below the saucers?

I used these rubber pot feet to slightly elevate my indoor fountain above the granite counter in my kitchen. No stains from the “feet” or the fountain. I elevate all my outdoor patio pots with “feet”.
