Very Good Affordable Grinder
I had been using a blade-type grinder with fresh roasted beans and had a bit of trouble finding a consistent procedure to arrive at the cup of coffee I wanted every morning. I switched to this burr grinder and, after some experimentation, arrived at the settings that satisfied me. I make a single cup of pour-over coffee each time. No larger batches, even though that is easily possible. Experimentation had indicated that, for me within the single cup pour-over scenario, the grinder’s “number of cups” forward facing setting wheel needs to be set on 4 cups. The other setting wheel, on the side of the machine, needs to be set at the one o’clock position. Then I place beans into the bean reservoir at the top of the machine and push the start button once. The grinder does the rest. I boil water in a kettle and transfer that water to a goose-neck little pitcher that has the exact capacity of the cup from which I drink the finished coffee. That water passes through a paper filter and a stainless steel fine mesh filter holder that rests upon my coffee cup. I only do pour-overs, and the above produces a cup of coffee that I like. The adjustability of this burr grinder allows you to find the specific settings that will wind up pleasing you. Make sure you get every bit of finished grind from the clear receptacle before moving on to the brew process, as grinds can adhere to the inside surface of the receptacle’s black top. This has been a reliable, durable, and easy-to-clean burr grinder. I wasted my time with blade grinders. I should have purchased this machine sooner.

Compact, Powerful, and Perfect for Espresso Lovers!
Hello to anyone reading this! I recently purchased this bean grinder for my kitchen, and I couldn’t be happier with it. I was looking for something compact that wouldn’t take up much counter space but could still get the job done — and this grinder absolutely delivers. It features clearly labeled grind settings, and after experimenting a bit, I found that the best results come from learning what works for your specific machine. For example, I discovered that setting the dial just above “espresso” (on the “O”) gives me the perfect fine consistency — think cinnamon powder — for my espresso maker. When I first tried the standard espresso setting, it wasn’t quite fine enough. In terms of affordability, quality, and design, this grinder truly exceeds expectations. It’s actually Quiet and simple to use! It’s compact, elegant, and performs exactly as described. Ready to go right out the box easy to disassemble and clean with easy to follow cleaning instructions and information about the product inside! I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend it!

Great grinder for the price range!
This grinder is mostly a 5 for me, especially considering the price. For $33.99, I really wanted to try this one! I'm so far glad I did! I've been grinding our own beans ever since I found out that pre-ground coffee may have a higher amount of dirt and other things in it. But cheaper, smaller grinders break and are a pain. I like to grind a whole bag of beans for the week. This grinde is perfect for that! I love it's design with the grind settings and amount to grind. It doesn't feel cheap and worked so well my first time using it! The only reason I knocked it down a star is due to what others mention: the messiness when removing the canister. For me, for the price, it's a very minor issue. More expensive grinders seem to have this issue as well, so I'm content with this grinder. I hate scooping out coffee from smaller grinders and trying to avoid their blades. I don't have to worry about that with this grinder. Also, my last smaller grinder was a Cuisinart, which broke twice and they took forever to replace (it was still under warranty and made me just through so many hoops to get a replacement--I'll NEVER buy Cuisinart again!) and the second one has broken under warranty, so I am overjoyed with this beautiful SHARDOR grinder.

Use it every week. Fresh ground makes a huge difference.
Nothing better than fresh ground coffee. Especially if it’s Duncan medium roast beans.

Very nice grinder
This is a great grinder for the price. I definitely recommend! It’s easy to use and doesn’t make a big mess. You set how many cups you need and grind size and then press the button and walk away. Very user friendly.

Cute Grinder, But the Static Makes It Frustrating to Use Daily
I really wanted this grinder to be part of my daily coffee routine because I love the idea of having freshly ground coffee every morning. It’s cute, easy to use, and does a good job grinding the beans, but honestly the static buildup makes it pretty frustrating. Every time I pull the cup out, the coffee grounds practically fly everywhere, which turns a simple step into a messy chore. After a while, that extra cleanup gets annoying, especially when you’re just trying to enjoy a quick, fresh cup of coffee. It works, but the static issue takes away from what should be a convenient, everyday experience.
