How do I wash it? I have had one of these before first one was destroyed by a washing machine, so how do I clean it?

I don't have the best answer in the world, but get yourself a soft rag with a bottle of your favorite cleaner. Don't spray directly on the mouse pad, but spray your soft rag and scrub your mouse until it's clean. Also be sure to get a dry rag and wipe it down afterwards.

Is this a gel wrist pad or a memory foam?

I would assume a gel wrist pad based on the feel rather than a memory foam. I am not an expert on that matter but it feels more like a fake boob than foam pillow, I have felt both of those two things so I can honestly judge it based on that.
