TempPro TempAir 2 Pack Hygrometer Indoor Humidity Meter, Room Thermometer

I ordered a 2 pack, figuring I can compare the 2 for readings/accuracy. So I put in the battery, and the 2 side by side were about 10 degrees away from each other in temperature and about 30 degrees in humidity. Neither temperature was within even 10 degrees of what I knew the room temperature to be. After an hour, still way off. I thought it was junk, considered sending it back but thought I’d try the customer service #. Amazingly, a human answered AND was very friendly AND helpful. Wow. Young man cheerfully assured me that it takes up to 24 hours for the thermometer to acclimate and give out accurate readings. He apologized that the owner’s manual does not specify this. I said, sure no problem, but really doubted it. OK, 23 hours later, the 2 match each other perfectly and matched my accurate house thermostat. This small and inexpensive thermometer is carefully thought out. It’s easy to insert battery. It gives you an option of popping the back support out if you want to have it setting up on a surface, or you could hang it from same little support, or there’s a magnet too. Magnet is strong enough to support the thermometer. I probably would have given them at least 3 stars for having actually answered the phone. Nowadays, that’s very rare. But the product is great, customer service is wonderful, so 5 stars it is. I plan to get another 2 pack.

So far so good. You get temperature and humidity. Simple to use. Good price.

My landlords are slumlords and refuse to update my thermostat box. It’s the old dial kind and the numbers are all rubbed off so I can never be certain what it’s set at. I need to try to keep my electricity bills low. These have been so helpful with the cool fall weather here. Wish I’d found these sooner.

We have Ecobee thermostats that control two of our heat pumps and a Honeywell that controls a third. I noticed that the one in our main bedroom was showing high humidity and temperature which seemed at odds with the rest of the house. I bought these thermometer/ humidity units to test against the Ecobee. Both units read at times one or two points different on the humidity, for example 42% and 43% and the temperature is either the same or 0.1 different. I compared them with two instant read kitchen thermometers and they registered the same temperature. Obviously, positioning will influence the readings for comparison purposes. I know this is not truly scientific just positioning the units alongside or on too of thermostats but good enough to show the Ecobee temperature reading was consistently five degrees higher and the humidity 18 points higher. Measured next to the Honeywell thermostat the humidity was the same. On the dehumidifier bought as a result of the Ecobee readings it was just a percentage point or two different. Good enough for me. I could have tested the humidity measurement more scientifically but I just wanted a rough and ready guide for which these units seem perfect. Worked well enough to get A over to send a replacement thermostat which reads more accurately. The units are compact with a little fold-out stand and a magnet that is strong enough as I tested them on a wall light and they held up perfectly. Readability is fine although there is no backlighting option. A little happy face emoji appears when humidity is good. Can't comment on battery life but I'd imagine it will be fine and worst case would involve changing out the no-name batteries supplied. I definitely recommend this item.

These seem to be pretty accurate. I’m looking forward to seeing how they do inside a grow tent this winter. The first picture is the two of them indoors. The second is outside. Very happy with this purchase.

These are really great for the price and my use. Needed just to make sure the humidity in rooms were not too dry. While testing them out for accuracy, one wasn’t registering the correct humidity. Put it through a few easy tests and concluded it wasn’t working properly. Rather than ship both back I reached out to the manufacture and they were amazingly responsive and sent me a replacement right away and it works great. Highly recommend this seller/manufacturer.

I bought a twin pack and they didn't even seem to have the same calibration. The one in the middle I also purchased from Amazon and it seems to have a more accurate reading. They will do for what I need them for.
