Great product
I had to wear a boot for 4 weeks and then this thing for 4 weeks. It worked great and did the job. I will say that it did not fit in my normal shoe and I had to buy a pair of men’s wide width shoes in a bigger size. This wasn’t an issue though because I didn’t want to stretch out my Hokas, so I bought a cheap pair of tennis shoes and used the one shoe for my brace. Yes, it was weird, but I wasn’t going for a fashion statement. It held up and I hope I never have to use it again!!

Great idea, poor execution, don't buy.
Very Cheaply Made, the plastic is flimsy, thin and the Velcro that comes with it is so tiny and short that if you have calves bigger than a soda can, it won't fit.

Doesn’t crush the ankle A wonderful find!
FINALLY something I can wear, I suddenly found myself with a crippling ankle/foot, a total mess. Couple mos ago. This actually helped.. a great deal, I’ve been working with Ortho specialist for months many trips nothing worked. It stabilizes very well. I can and do wear it at nite, all nite I think it helps correct plus with tape it’s not too slippery during those late nite b-room trips and no itchy Velcro edges, super easy to get on and off. No pinching .. and best of all the ONLY thing I have found ( and believe me I been lookin hard! Just so I can walk) Myself I need to tape it around the bottom of foot to hold my foot down to keep foot lined up..(pointing 12:00 not 3) and that works great, think it actually helps alignI can tell ya from someone who has a REALLY messed up foot ankle, it works..

Poor experience
The real negative issue is with Amazon for shipping the wrong sized item twice. In my order, I spec'd a small right brace. Both times, I received a large right brace. Brace Direct was very good and sent me the correct size (Small - Right), but my wife reported that the brace did not fit well and pinched the side of her ankle.Brace Direct also sent me a pre-paid shipping label with instructions to take the items to a FedEx office, which I did. Brace Direct did a good job of correcting the issue. But, sadly, the FedEx office demanded that I pay them $8 despite the shipment already having been paid for. I refused and left the items on their counter. I have no idea if FedEx shipped the braces back to Brace Direct or simply threw them in the garbage.Double charging is a cheap stunt, and both Amazon and their vendors have a duty to communicate to the shippers that a pre-paid shipment means just that -- it's already paid for and the customer will not be charged additional fees. I did communicate this experience at the FedEx store to Brace Direct but they have not replied.
