These lights are great. I bought a Moonrays transformer, 12/2 low voltage cable and 8 Lemonbest warm white spotlights (four 2-packs). The details of what I ordered are below.I used seven of these Lemonbest lights and they are really good. The warm light is very natural; the lights are heavy and of good quality and you can't beat the price. They are very biright! I highly recommend these lights for your spotlight project. And, I only used 35 watts! That's less than an indoor incandescent lamp bulb!It was very easy to connect the lights to the 12/2 electrical cable. My only issue was the wire attached to the lights (18 gauge) is a bit thin and might deteriorate over time - but I think 18 gauge is pretty standard for these types of lights.I included some pictures with and without the lights...Here is the "kit" that I ordered for my project. Edit: 1 year and a half later these lights have lived up to their initial quality and work and look like they did when I bought them. The black aluminum casing isn't flaking or chipping off either. I'm considering buying two more to light up the other side of my trees. I'll add that these lights have the right heft to them - they feel as solid and heavy as you'd think they should though they aren't heavier than they need to be._______________________________________________________________________________________________Initial Review:Okay so I got these lights for outdoor usage because the outdoor lights are on all night and I wanted to reduce the power draw as much possible since I know that every single night, for 6 hours, these will be running.These lights were chosen to replace 36w halogen flying saucer shaped lights hard wired to a 12v system. I have to say they initially seem like perfect replacements. The color is a good 3000k, it's not too yellow or too white and the CRI must be above 80, I can't say it looks like a "cheap Chinese led" that will cheapen the feel of the landscape.They were simple to wire in and seem well constructed and waterproof. If they don't hold up I would be surprised but I will update the review.Based on initially quality I think the price of ~$8.50 per light is fair and I'm happy with the purchase.

I've bought 10 of these LED lights... I love the look and the light that it provides but HATE the micro wire they use to connect it. The wire is so small that it is guaranteed to corrode and break within 6 months... if not earlier! What I ended up doing is actually disassembling each light and soldered in a heavy duty wire to compensate for to poor quality wire they use. Don't buy unless you know how to solder and are willing to do some rework before installing.

These are fantastic. Not only did they arrive 3 days ahead of schedule, they worked perfectly. They are made of metal, and feel sturdy. They've already been through a sprinkler cycle with no signs of water leakage. I agree that the screw holding the light to the spike/post can be difficult to get to. But I simply unscrewed the light from the u-shaped bracket, attached the bracket to the spike, then re-atttached it. Job done. And I don't think that's a big issue. If it came pre-attached, the boxes would be much bigger and shipping costs would likely increase. Also, while many people complain that they don't have the wire clamps, my existing setup already had the twist-on wire connectors, so these were perfect. I think too many people forget that combining lights into an existing system usually requires at least a little bit of work on your part!My only negative would be that 5 watts LED are closer to 40W or 50W halogen. They are very bright. Perhaps a 2W or 3W option would be better, but this was my own lack of knowledge. Or perhaps it would be a good idea to include an equivalent brightness in the product description. But all in all, for around $8 per light, these are a fantastic deal for great quality lights.

These things are waaay brighter than my older 50w halogen spotlights, it really is amazing that they use a fraction of the energy and produce so much light. I did have a few that water got in and that caused them to dim significantly - I just take them apart and dry them out - seems like they are now working again though not sure about long-term damage. Hopefully these last a while as the lighting element can't be changed, time will tell just how worth it these are in the long term, but so far so good. Took off one star because the wires are so freakin short and about 25% of the ones I bought are letting in moisture.

I got the warm white, which is a pleasant color for uplights on my oak trees. These were surprisingly bright for 12v lights (substantially better than my prior color-changing LEDs and my halogens). Bought a second pair, and am waiting to buy my third pair when these come back with Prime shipping. Standard connections (connect wire to wire), with no concern for polarity. Most importantly, my wife likes them.
