If you are around 6' and 300+, get this chair.
I am 6'1" and 320lbs. This chair was made for big guys like me. The arm rests do wobble a little-----use manual hand-screw/knobs to tighten them but the chair is comfortable and it holds my weight. I've been through many chairs in the past few years and this one is by far the best. You get what you pay for when dealing with these office chairs and this one is worth the money.Update 9/12/18.......I had to comment because I've seen some of the bad reviews.I've had this chair a little over 3 years now. It's a very good chair for Big/Tall people for the price.Pros: when purchasing a Big & Tall chair, you pay for the cylinder. The cylinder on this chair was made to hold up 400lbs of weight. The cylinder still works fine and supports my (350+ lbs) weight very well. I use leather cleaner wipes to keep it looking new and clean. The Adjustable Armrests adjust in and Out and up and Down........so this works perfectly for a Big/tall/wider-shaped person. The chair has comfortable cushion and it has a high back........works perfectly for Tall people. It looks nice. Not difficult to assemble. I have no problems leaning back and/or twirling around in a circle with this chair. The wheels are fine.Cons: The leather padding on the armrests have started flaking.......normal wear & tear after 3 years of constant use. The armrests still wiggle on occasion--use manual hand-screw/knobs on the bottom of the chair to tighten them.........the hand screw/knobs do loosen up and have to be re-tightened on occasion. I wish the price was cheaper.....but this is not any ordinary chair----it's a (Big & Tall high back/executive office chair with adjustable arms).........not easy to find.Suggestion: when looking at/searching for other chairs, Beside the price---check the weight limit/capacity----if you can't find a weight limit, don't buy it----most Big/Tall chairs are rated to support up 200 lbs--the cylinder will break OR wear out prematurely if you go over the weight limit of the chair. Another suggestion, check to see if the armrest is adjustable up & down--but also adjustable IN & OUT.........most exec chairs are narrow and the armrests are not adjustable outward to support a wider body frame. Conclusion: If you are a Big/Tall person, this chair is a good choice compared to the other................Big & Tall-high back/executive office chair with adjustable arms.

I am disappointed in this chair and I had such high hopes
Overall this is a decent chair. It's sturdy and comfortable. I like the extra padding on the armrests and I don't even mind that the armrests have some wiggle to them after they loosen up. My only complaint is the seat. It leans too far forward to where I feel like I have to push my legs on the ground to keep from sliding out. I also wish the seat was deeper than it is. For bigger guys it should be. I'm 6'2" 245 lbs.**UPDATE 4/18/18** - I have used this char for quite a while now. I sit in it every day for work for about eight hours a day. Since I wrote my earlier review the padding on the bottom cushion of the chair has completely diminished, it's almost like there isn't any padding at all. Also, every day or two I find I have to adjust the height of my chair because it has lowered on its own. I believe the air shock is bleeding out and it loses its height setting because of that. The armrests still wiggle which has become really annoying. Because of these things I am changing my rating to one star. I would not recommend buying this chair. I should have made the investment in a better quality one.

Love it, but I can't stay leaned back
I like everything about this chair except for the lean.I was excited once I learned how to lean back in this chair, however immediately I was met with disappointment when it sent me right back to my upright position. I tried locking it in to place in a leaned position and was unsuccessful. I just don't see the point of having it lean back if it's only temporary. It behaves sort of like a rocking chair. I just don't understand the practicality of it being the way it is. I'd like to understand why it was designed this way.It got 4 stars because sitting here typing this review, my lower back is being taken care of by the great lumbar support. My butt is happy as a clam, and I'm 6'3" and my head rests nicely on the head rest. I am genuinely comfortable in this chair. I didn't give it 5 stars because I don't understand the lean design. As for the arm rests...they do rattle on occasion, but this chair is made for big people, so depending on how vast you are, you have the option of widening your space of comfort. So I have no complaint about the arm rests, even though they can be annoying at first.

No adjust to the angle of the base? Yikes.
My only real gripe with this chair is that I don't care for the angle that the base of the chair sits when it's locked in non-reclining mode. For me, it feels like I am leaning forward and there is no support under my thighs. There needs to be a way to adjust the stop so the tilt of the seat when lock in the non-recling mode can be set a few degrees up in the front.Otherwise, I'm a big guy (6.4, 280lbs), and this chair is well built. I was getting tired of cheaper, smaller chairs constantly lowering on their own from my weight, the gas strut would just leak down over time. This thing feels solid, and is overall comfortable for 4-6 hours a day sitting without any issue. Yes, the arms are a bit loose due to the mounting technique they use and the fact they are not attached to the back as others point out, but I don't find this takes away from the daily use of the chair at all.I sort of rigged up my own solution and wedged in a metal shim to tilt the base back slight and it does work, but the shim has come loose more then once and is a bit annoying. Otherwise would be a 5 star chair IMO.

Best Office Desk Chair I have ever purchased!
I am 60 years old and 200 lbs. I spend about about 8 to 12 hours a day at my desk doing website graphic designs. This is the most comfortable chair I have ever owned. Very easy to assemble! Going to order two more for my office helpers. The arms will slightly wobble because of the adjustable up/down and in/out mechanism but the comfort of this chair make up for it. If this bothers you then get a chair with fixed, nonadjustable arms.I highly recommend this chair!!!!
