Finally
Initially I was upset with the carrier. I placed my order on may 25th and didnโt receive until June 5th. It was lost in the mail for awhile. But the packaging is very well. As long as shipping goes smooth I would recommend. Moxie is a great soda and the only carrier in Indiana to my knowledge is Cracker Barrel. The bottles donโt hit the same as the cans. Hope this helps someone

Taste like home
Its a flavor all of its own, one would say an acquired taste. The flavor that brings me back to my favorite place. If you've never tried moxie you need to. Now you might not like it but you won't know unless you try it!

Put a little Moxie in your life!
Moxie is one of the oldest mass-produced soft drinks in the United States, dating back to 1876. Originally marketed as Moxie Nerve Food, it has evolved into a cult classic, especially in New England, where it is the official state soft drink of Maine. Unlike modern colas that lean heavily into syrupy sweetness, Moxie offers a profile that is famously described as distinctively different. Flavor Profile and Ingredients The primary differentiator for Moxie is gentian root extract. This botanical ingredient provides a deep, herbal bitterness that kicks in after the initial notes of cola and wintergreen. Initial Taste: Sweet and spicy, similar to a mix of root beer and a mild cola. The Aftertaste: This is where Moxie is most divisive. The gentian root leaves a medicinal, bitter finish that many compare to Amari or cocktail bitters. Key Ingredients: Carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup (or cane sugar in specialty bottles), caramel color, and the signature gentian root extractives. Historical Legacy Created by Dr. Augustin Thompson, Moxie was once the most popular soda in America, even outselling Coca-Cola in the early 1900s. Its name has since entered the English lexicon as a synonym for courage, spirit, or nerve. While it is now owned by the Coca-Cola Company, it maintains a niche, regional identity rather than a global presence. Performance and Value For the average consumer, Moxie is an acquired taste. It performs best when served ice cold, which helps temper the intensity of the bitter notes. Pros: It is far less cloying than standard sodas and has a complex, "adult" flavor profile. It also works exceptionally well as a cocktail mixer for spirits like rum or mezcal. Cons: The medicinal quality can be off-putting to those used to modern flavor profiles. It can also be difficult to find outside of the Northeast, though it is often stocked at Cracker Barrel locations nationwide. Final Verdict Moxie is a drink for those who appreciate botanical complexity and history in a bottle. If you enjoy root beer, black licorice, or herbal tonics, it is worth trying at least once to experience a piece of American beverage history.

Wish it was available everywhere all the time
Not quite as full-throttle as the old stuff, but I would drink a pool full of this if easier to get.

Make mine a moxie
I stumbled on Moxie while on vacation once and fell in love with it. I always try to get people to try it when I order it and they generally hate it at first, so definitely an acquired taste, but oh so worth it. I just finished my first of the 12 cans I ordered and am extremely happy I get to enjoy it again. For anyone that hasn't tried it before but is thinking of ordering it I say go for it, but know it is way more bitter than what you are probably used to from other sodas. But if you stick with it for a few ounces or more you'll start to pick up the flavors and the richness and boldness of this soda. I'd drink a can everyday if any store around me sold it, and am starting to wish I could just subscribe to this cola to have it delivered to me at least once a month.
