This is the second Scotte pipe I've purchased and ONLY because I lost the last one. I've had the first for over 5 months and it's a flawless little BIG pipe. It'll fit in the palm of your hand and is easy to tote around in a pocket. If you do so, you'll want to make a plug for the bowl because it's HUGE! It'll easily hold a fluffy gram and more if you pack it. The bowl is metal with a tungsten look coating. The bowl is plastic but it looks like a burlwood dash in a 90's Jaguar. I'm also very rough on anything I carry around and have dropped this thing hard on concrete over a couple of dozen times. It'll bounce and roll like a jerk and make you look for it, but I've yet to break it. The filter is metal and won't come out of the stem, but is very easy to blow out. Be sure the hole in the filter is "up" when you put the stem in. It has three holes in the bottom of the bowl that drop directly into a plastic chamber that can't be "opened". The bowl doesn't come out but is very easy to clean. I've used it with and without a screen and I would suggest using one just because it gets greasy fast without one. It'll gurgle like any old pipe when it needs cleaned. The case it comes with it nice, I've never used it. The rest is... fodder. A 1000 pack of pipe cleaners is all it needs like any other pipe. I've also soaked it in 91% alcohol for a deep clean, does a great job and it doesn't affect the finish at all. I did not receive a 10$ gift card for this review, I just really like the pipe.
