4965 Original Double-Sided PET Film Tape, Transparent, 1 in x 36 yd, 1 Roll

We use this for holding signs on doors, machinery, and more. Once you put it on, good luck getting it off, which is great for signage.

The tape is sold by Amazon LLC and is described as Tesa tape. The picture with the listing shows the Tesa logo on the cardboard core, but what we received was not Tesa tape. The tape that was shipped to us had the same salmon color liner as Tesa tape, but was poorly wound on the core and was labeled "Marian Chicago." It wasn't as sticky as Tesa tape is. I looked up Marian Chicago's website...they do appear to have some affiliation with Tesa, but it wasn't clear if that included this particular tape. Regardless, the tape did not meet the quality of Tesa tape we have purchased in the past, so we returned it. While trying to return it through Amazon's website I received a message that an exchange for the same item was my only option. To Amazon's credit I was given a refund when I called customer service, explained the situation, and said that I did not want an exchange.

First time ordering from this vendor, I love this tape, use it so often on so many projects. And I like to order the large roll, so finding this resource is a great find.

Like other reviews state, this is not authentic Tesa brand tape. The description is misleading and I will be making a return.

The picture shows TESA 4965 tape, but the actual shipped product are equivalent (wanna be) made in China stuff. The adhesive wasn't up to expectation from TESA. 100% bait and switch.
