A tough, no-nonsense competitor--Cale Yarborough earned the respect of both fans and fellow drivers during his championship career. Driving the Wood Brothers Mercury Cyclone, Yarborough dominated during the 1968 season with six flag at some of the most prestigious events, including the Daytona 500 and Southern 500. He took the checkered flag in the 1968 Daytona 500 driving this Wood Brothers #21 Cyclone. This win was his first victory of the season and brought the Wood Brothers their second Daytona win.
