I used this filter in an 2022 Mercury 90. Excellent quality oil filter. Does not leak. Threads are a perfect match. Will definitely be using for all my future oil changes.

Perfect fit on a 2013 60hp 4 stroke Mercury

Have been using for years on my Mercury 40hp Big Foot outboard.
I solely use these on my Mercury 40hp Big Foot outboard. I don't know if there are other options out there, I haven't looked. These filters do the trick, and I like to order them preseason and have them on hand for when it comes time to service the boat. I believe this to be a good, high quality filter.

High quality quicksilver filters
Product is great, excellent fit, as described, and an excellent price for a quality product. Only complaint is the the filters should be shipped in boxes. Not soft packaging material to prevent damage during shipping. Other then that, highly recommend to family members and friends.

Great replacement filter for regular maintenance
’ve installed the Quicksilver 8M0162830 Oil Filter for Mercury and Mariner FourStroke Outboards 25-115hp on my Mercury Pro XS 115 and it fit perfectly. Installation was quick and easy, and the filter sealed properly with no leaks. I prefer using genuine Quicksilver filters for marine engines since they’re designed specifically for Mercury motors. The engine has been running smooth, oil stays cleaner, and startup lubrication has been excellent.
