Arrived as promised, securely packed. Works well, as expected. You need to be aware, though, that this is a grey import, and so does not come with the Nikon UK warranty. Hence only 4 stars.

You need to really check if your lens is on the compatability list for this product. Its not obvious that it only works with a very small number of Z mounts lens. None of my Nikon Z mount lenses were compatible and so had to send back.

I recently hired a Nikon Z 70-200 f2.8 lens and 2 x teleconverter prior to buying one, as I wanted the 70 -200 lens plus the ability to reach 400mm without buying another lens. However I was dissapointed with the initial results, so I did a comparison test with and without the converter and the results were conclusive. Adding the 2 x converter definately softens the images significantly.

Can't fault it. Another top notch product from nikon. Just wish I had a cheaper hobby.

This item is either faulty or not a genuine Nikon Teleconverter 2.0x. I mounted it on my Nikon Z 70-200 mm lens, the only lens that Nikon currently make that it will fit, connected it to my Nikon 7Z and was greeted with a warning that it was not a CPU lens or that a lens was not connected and as it was not a CPU lens to use 4 different setting which I did and the camera would not focus or operate. Disconnected the Teleconverter from the lens which I then fitted to the camera body and it performed normally just to make sure that I had connected the two items, lens and Teleconverter and the camera informed once more that it was not a CPU lens and to operate it manually and under the alternate settings, and again nothing worked at all!! I have used Nikon photographic for more than 20 years and this the first item that has not worked a nd really do not want to think the worst but having paid the recommended advertised price of £599.99p I will return the lens converter and would like my money refunded please

Superb piece of kit, but only works with 1 Nikon z lens at the moment

Très bon teleconvertisseur. Utilisé avec un Nikkor 180-600 mm. Et le résultat est de bonne qualité, surtout avec un bon éclairage

I have a Nikon Nikkor Z 70-200mm f/2,8 VR S and with this converter I loose much sharpness. The shipping is fast and good. I wondered if this was a clone, but it states that it is an original Nikon. For the poor quality it is way to expensive

Der angehängt Bildausschnitt wurde mit einem 400 2.8 nur aufgestützt auf einem alten wackeligen Holzpfosten eines Weidezauns fotografiert. Just out of the Box. Ja, etwas Schärfeverlust ist immer, aber hier ist es jammern auf extrem hohem Niveau. Beim Autofokus habe ich subjektiv z. B. bei fliegenden Strandvögel mit teilweise unvorhersehbaren Flugrichtungen keinen nennenswerten Unterschied bemerkt. Da ist es eher das Problem, dass dann bei 800mm der Vogel fast schon zu schnell wieder aus dem Bild ist. Was soll ich dazu noch weiter sagen. Ich bin absolut begeistert. Der TC ist sehr kompakt und verschiebt nicht wie bei den alten den Schwerpunkt noch weiter vom Körper weg. Ich freue mich schon auf den kommenden Ausflug zum Strand mit seiner vielfältigen Vogelwelt. Freiarm mit dann 800mm macht endlich Spass. Der Rest, wie Achtung nicht verkehrt auf den Body setzen und und und ist schon mehrfach gesagt worden. Der TC 2.0 gibt mir nun die Flexibilität für 400 bei Offenblende und einem 800 5.6 mit echt tollen Leistungen.

NIKKOR Z 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 にてテスト。 外気温と大気の状態で物凄く顕著に影響が出ます。 冬の日没近くの寒くなってきた時間帯に撮影した時には、十分な解像感が得られましたが、日中の太陽の熱の影響がある時には、残念な解像感と感じてしまうかもしれません。 夕方に飛行機などを撮影した時にもAFスピードにも特に不満は感じませんでした。 もし、解像感が無いと感じる場合は、暖かな日中では無く涼しい時間帯に再度テストしてみるのをお勧めします。
