Great value and a rather essential gadeget for rapid fault finding ..surprisingly good
It does not feel cheap nor expensive it has a good case , very easy to use and quite intuitive, no manuals but can be found by a Google trawl . The initial confusion over the numbering on the DIP socket is rapidly resolved once you realise there are only 3 inputs and these are repeated to support the lead pitch of different componenets. The KAA inputs are reserved for Zener diodes with the AA replicated again for pitch of leads. You can test on the box or remotely via the provided mini clip leads. The leads are a bit crappy but do a job, you may want to knock up some more robust ones eventually but these get you started. This little thing rocks ! It does not matter which way you connect any leads or any components the tester will work out the EBC or ANODE and cathode what ever and give you a graphical representation of the device together with HFE for transistors forward bias voltage for diodes, capacitance goes up to 100mf and also does ESR . It can measure resistance to quite low levels and with good accuracy and does batteries up to 4.5 volts and all manner of discrete semiconductors.I used it immidiately to fault find a project that got blown up after a short circuit many months ago and I had even for gotten how the circuit worked even though I designed and made it , the ease of use very quickly helped me get on the fault trail and had it back up and working in 15 minutes , I could have done this with a DVM and scope but i even managed to test in circuit with power off and CAPS discharged ( essential ) and tracked the fault to an LED that had gone bad and was acting as a resistor in both directions witha value of 160 ohms . The tester clearly reported this as a resistor and not a diode that was the clue I needed. This is clearly going to be a useful tool in the box not just for faults but testing all the crap lying around before I use it and to clearly identify resisitors and CAPS even indcutors , the value representation is better than a DVM you instantly know its 10k or 100 or 1000 no need to double check your decimal points or meter scale. I am middle age and myopic this device not only speeds things up but speeds up value checking which lets face it is a blasted chore. The battery may turn out to be a bit weedy but its not beyond our capabilities to fit a fatter cell , saying that it seems to charge pretty fast. For the money you really cant complain its a bargain.

Electronic component tester.
Excellent value for money and a great little tool.Probe clips are not great but they’ll get you by until the purchase some better clips if you’re a regular user.

Handy piece of test eqipment
As I get older and my eyesight is getting worse and on top of that electronic components are getting smaller.I find it difficult now to see the coloured bands on resistors to work out its value. I had taken to just putting the resistor across my multimeter on resistance / ohms and measuring it instead. This piece of equipment is so much better, put a resistor in and it tells you the value, - just like the multimeter. but, put a capacitor in and it tells you its capacitance and its esr which indicates how good it is. Put a diode in and it tells you which end is which, put a coil of wire in and it gives you the inductance. Put in a transistor which can be PNP, NPN or FET and it will identify the 3 pins and tell you various characteristics of it.For around £20 that's a lot of test gear for your money. I use it a lot and it is quite accurate in its readings.

Perfect replacement for the old T4 tester
Having had an old T4 tester for years, I decided to get a newer model with more functionality. Having Used diymore products in the past I decided to go with this one and it works great. It can test a lot of parts with good precision for DIY and repairs and the remote test functionality proved useful already. The internal battery seems to last forever and I love the fact that they went for a USB C charging port.

Tester works fine with R / L / C measuring
The only weak point is measuring in live circuits, It can destroy the device if too high voltages are present. So be carefull to unload all capacitors and \ or circuits before measuring in-circuit!

Great meter.
This is a perfect little gadget. My other meters are so much bigger and do less.
