Justin Conductor 8" Work Boot for Men - Durable Leather, Slip-Resistant Sole, Double Comfort Insole

Fit as advertised, confront ia good, good protection for feet.

I wear a size 10.5 wide in Belleville military boots, so I got these in a 10.5EE, and they fit great. I've also got some scrawny ankles, which these laced down on just fine. Wore them out in town for a week as a "look good boot" to get them broken in, and they broke in well. Just getting out of the Marines, I was looking for a good work boot, as I work as a framer/carpenter. Two months of all day wear on the job, and they still feel good, and my feet feel better! Feels like I'm not even wearing them most of the time, until I drop a 16 foot 4x6 on them, and even then they hold their form and protect my foot. If you wear cowboy boots a lot, the sole is super easy to get use too. When I wipe the sawdust off of them, they still look good, and scuffs on the leather are very few, which surprised me as clumsy as I am with my feet. I'll probably take some leather polish to them soon. The best part is that I know they were made here in the USA, by someone who loves their job and what they do. Over all, this was a great investment, and I know they will last me for a long while. And when I do need a new pair of boots, I'll be right back here to get another pair of Justins.

This boot is aparently no longer available as described. The style is the same, but the leather is a tan suede. Customer service states it is exactly what I ordered and then gave me the link to the Justin web site (not to Amazon). If that is how they run their business, just order directly from Justin.Boot itself is excellent and very comfortable, just not what I had wanted for a work boot.

First off I'll say these are really comfortable, quality boots. I ordered the "aged bark" color, which in the advertised photo appears darker in color. What arrived was much lighter (see photo). My Dad has used these boots for years. With every day hard use on our farm you can get about 7 + years (they'll be wore out for sure).I decided to treat them in Mink Oil to help break them in and aid in water proofing them. This will make them last longer for my use. These boots are very well made. They came with cards inside, identifying the people who made them, and thanking you for keeping them employed. I feel that was a nice touch. I expect years of service from these. They are comfortable, I would describe the feel as western with a little lower heel than cowboy boots. They fit true to width also. Many shoes produced today seem to be nearly a wide width. These boots are not made that way, if you need a wide then order a wide. These boots fit my fit foot firmly on the sides. Not too tight but providing good support. I am on my feet 10+ hours a day and I find I have less foot and back aches when wearing them. These boots are a very good value. My last pair held up well for 8 years, I work retail and that means walking and climbing ladders all day long. 8 years is like $880.00 in cheap boot lives.

I ordered a 9.5D and they were to narrow. I don't understand why because I wore these boots for years in this size. When I did the return I was not offered anything smaller than a 10EE. I will wear them but I think a 9.5EE would have been a better fit. These have been my choice for work boots for many years.

I am a mechanic, and bought these 16 months ago. The only thing that is wearing out is the shoe laces. The soles and uppers are staying in good shape working in a grease, oil, and solvent soaked work environment. The design of the soles are excelent for not tracking grease around the shop or in cars. This is my 2nd pair of these boots, worn daily in about 6 - 7 years. I still use the old ones to work outside if its muddy, ect. They are very comfortable, and I am on my feet for 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. I would definately recomend to a friend.
