Update 11/26/18: It's been almost a year now, and this rug is still in awesome shape. It's held up against food, paint, play-doh, markers, you name it. It does seem to slide out of place a little bit more than it did at first, but that's really not an issue for us as we move it to vacuum anyway. Highly recommend! This rug is fantastic! I went back and forth for days trying to choose one for our dedicated art space that we set up for our toddlers. We live in a place where the winters get brutal, and going outside with two kids under 3 when the windchill is basically negative 5000... not in my plan. I wanted something that would tie the whole space together and make it look more planned, instead of just a boring room with a table and crafts. This did the trick 100%. I chose this rug ultimately because it offers a lot of learning, and if you're creative you can make a lot of games out of the different aspects of it. It's got words, colors, ABCs, seasons, etc. The colors are just as vivid as pictured when you see it in person. The low pile is also perfect for vacuuming messy kid stuff but still has some cushion to it.

Love this. My favorite rug. Not super thick but it’s also not thin. It’s soft but definitely not plush. Doesn’t wrinkle. It can fold/roll back up pretty good. You cant slip on it, and it does not slide on the linoleum floor it is on. It easily lays flat. So sad the kids stained it two days later. Could not get the stain out.

Really great rug, my kids loved all the different things on it. Especially the days of the week. Great for curious minds.

This big rug is just what I was looking for: bright, colorful, soft but durable, fun and educational. It is the perfect centerpiece for the room! It came rolled up and well-packaged and laid flat immediately. It cleans easily and is a nice thickness but not too heavy - plus the fabric doesn’t shed. Very happy with our purchase!! You’ll love it too.

I give four stars simply because it could be a bit thicker. I purchased two different rugs and used carpet tape and carpet padding to complete the look for my grands playroom. They love it!!!
