Fisher Oven Roasted Never Fried Deluxe Mixed Nuts, 24 Ounces

These are the best roasted nuts you've ever had! Nice mix of varieties too: cashews, pecans, almonds, pistachios. No added oil. Salt is just right for lovely flavor, not over-salty.

Let's preface this with the fact that the amount of salt and the roasting process is very nice. By not having things like peanut oil in it, for preservation, this was one of the safer options of mixed nuts that I could actually buy! It's surprisingly hard to get cashews without them being covered in peanut oil.Thing is, while I like the flavor, almonds are probably my least favorite nut to chew on. So when 2/3s of the container is straight up only almonds, meant I was picking through a lot to get to the other parts of it. I can get other people to finish up the parts I don't enjoy chewing on, but it was really unfortunate. Plus, barely any pistachios and only some pecans.

Very good quality and tasty

This product is one whose praises I never tire singing about. First off, the price point is excellent given the assortment of high quality nuts. They are roasted to perfection and salted conservatively to bring out the flavors without leaving me running for water. I eat these nuts with all kinds of cereals and will even sprinkle them on my peanut butter sandwiches. They are a valued staple of my healthy diet.

I'm on a quest to find the perfect deluxe mixed nuts, so I bought 3 brands with the plan of ranking them 3, 4, 5 stars. None of them got 5 stars, but this was my least favorite. I'm still going to eat them all and you'll probably like them fine, but the outstanding flavor they carry is more of a slightly over-cooked, burnt even, singe to your taste buds. Also could use a LOT more salt for my personal tastes. I might try to mix them up in some olive oil and sea salt and see if that helps, but I won't be back for a second order.

I purchased a number of mixed nuts cans in Amazon a few months ago.1. Planter's Mixed Nuts with or without peanut- It seems that the nuts were fried in the oil(?) : tastes good but somewhat oily.2. Fischer's Mixed Nuts with Peanuts- Strangely, the nuts including peanuts felt much drier than others.Contains significant fraction of peanuts : Little or no oily taste3. Fischer's Deluxe Mixed Nuts (without Peanuts, perhaps)- I think this is the right one to go~! Tastes very good without significant oily feeling.Contains larger nuts than peanuts, which I love so much! (I also love peanuts but others more!)Less oily with regard to the Planters, in my taste.(It seems that Planter's mixed nuts uses certain kind of oil such as peanut(?) oil to fry the nuts, while Fisher's simply bakes nuts without adding any oil. So, I think Fisher's tastes less oily and closer to pure nuts than Planter's.)A tip for preservation :- I put one small pack of food compatible silica-gel (3~4g) into the bottle after I opened it.Silica-gel absorbs excessive moisture and releases it when the surrounding air became excessively dry. With silica-gel, good taste goes longer without deterioration and it also smells better until I go through with it usually within 2~3 weeks.(They recommend eating 30~40 nuts per day in order to prevent excessive fat intake, although most of which is unsaturated fat which helps lower body fats.)With regard to the types of container, my experience tells the tin can is the best - I can say, with a tin can, the nuts are preserved better without any deterioration in smell and taste compared with a plastic container or a zipper vinyl bag. But after you open any type of the container, moisture within the container may facilitate deterioration of taste and smell. With a small silica-gel pack(I recommend 3~4g pack : 5g pack is too large) safe for food in the container, the nuts smells and tastes good for extended period of time. With a silica-gel, I felt no significant difference in deterioration of nuts between the tin can/plastic lid from Planter's and the whole plastic container from Fischer's.(Actually the Planter's plastic-only container seemed not water tight. When I filled an empty Planter's plastic-only container with water and shook it vigorously, I was able to see small amount of water leaking under the plastic lid. The plastic-only container seems not water tight.)FISCHER'S DELUXE MIXED NUTS (without peanut) - I definitely recommend this one!p.s.) If you like peanuts, then you can add some Fisher's or Planter's honey-roasted peanuts or simple salty roasted peanuts in the dish according to your taste! Thanks!!

I love these nuts so much… I actually really appreciate the Fisher brand for making nuts that have not been fried and oil… These are wonderful, fresh, tasty and I highly recommend them

First time to try this brand and it is good! Well sealed, fresh and crunchy. I wish they could improve on the delivery time. Other than that, im a satisfied customer. 👍🏻

Poor quality and rancid taste . Definitely not worth the money . Very low pecan content . Never again would I buy these purely on the rancid taste .

These mixed nuts taste really good, they are roasted and lightly saltedwhich brings out the flavor of the individual nuts.Unable to stop after trying !

Mix nuts combinations are good, you see that it's more almonds and cashew nuts not like other brands that, it's more cashew nuts than rest of the other nuts
