HOW TO INSTALL LOCKING DRAWER ~ Our Sentry Safe Locking Drawer didn't come with any paperwork to show how it install it properly. Hubby put the items in the locking drawer, then locked it, and slide it into place in the safe. He closed the safe door, but the Locking Drawer kept if from shutting. After trying it in various locations (high, middle, low) in the safe, we thought we'd been sent the wrong item. Finally, I noticed when he had the locking drawer out of the safe to remove the items, so we could return it, that the lock pushed out past the side of the drawer when in lock position. Hubby unlocked it and pushed it back in the safe, and it went all the way back in the safe, then he locked it. Now, it's secured back in there, and the safe door shuts !! YAY !! To remove it, it will have to be Unlocked first, then pulled forward. The Locking drawer is good sized, and easy to use (once you figure it out - HaHa). Even though it's plastic, it seems to be of good quality. We definitely recommend this item.

Good product

Like everyone said, it is fairly brittle. However, like most said its only for keeping things seperate from other safe users. If its in the top slot its 100% secure with the draw being locked in place. Yes someone could break into it in the top slot with hand tools, but if thats the case, why are you sharing a safe with such a person? I do think its slightly over priced which is why im doing 4 stars. Should be a 19.99 product. Not 30. And dont even look at the price on the sentry website unless you are sitting down. Fits my 1.23cu.ft. safe perfectly.

Giving 3 stars because I like the size of the drawer, it has a cover, & fit perfectly in my safe. Otherwise it would be rated much lower. Arrived with 2 keys, only one of which would lock/unlock the drawer, the other was bent. Since I knew at purchase it wasn’t going to offer any amount of security, I didn’t pursue returning it. Not worth locking anyways, I could break it open with bare hands. IMO it’s overpriced but it does what I wanted it to do. If looking for something to offer any amount of security, look elsewhere.

I love this drawer and works well in my SentrySafe. Much better than just a flimsy shelf, this helps keep things neat and organized inside the safe. Highly Recommend. February 2026 Update - The drawer has held up well and I actually bought a second one to use in my safe.

I like leaving positive reviews...it makes me feel good that an item I bought meets or exceeds expectations. So if a product fails to meet those expectations, its equally important to leave a factual negative review. This shelf does fit the Sentry 1.23 CuFt safe. Okay, done with the positive aspect. The material used in this shelf is VERY lightweight plastic right down to the hinges. The idea for a removable secure drawer, at least in my mind, was that it could be a 'grab & go' item. Might be filled with a personal self-defense item, precious metals, legal docs, etc. The lock is a joke, the material is china-toy grade and the hinges are just plastic stubs, 1 of which was broken as received. Protective padding or packaging was non-existent; tossed loose in a flimsy cardboard box 'protected' only by a plastic bag. Broken as received with the key (in the lock) poking out of the cardboard box where it had been smacked around. So, poor quality, no way it would survive a hurried evac, broken at receipt due to poor (no) padding. Don't waste your money on this drawer. A tupperware dish is 100 times more sturdy and likely waterproof. At least Amazon was great on their return policy and refunded the cost.

This fit perfectly into my safe and allows me to have other access the main compartment but can keep other things seperate. Not extremely secure itself, if the safe is broken into this thing is child's play, but enough of a deterrent for prying eyes.

さすがに専用のケースだけあって金庫内にぴったりと、綺麗に収まります。 鍵を掛けると金庫から取り出せなくなるギミックも良く出来ています。 ケース自体はプラスティックで値段の割に安っぽく感じます。 また、A4の用紙は入りますが、クリアファイルやバインダーは入りません。 長手方向の長さが足らないのでバインダーの上下をぎりぎりまでカットして 無理やり収めました。

There's nothing safe about this. The box pretty much has huge gaps that can easily be opened. I do not recommend

I am very disappointed with this product which specifications indicated that it was made of painted metal. on arrival it proved to be made of plastic, which having a lock on only on one side, does not meet with design criteria. My 13 year old autistic grandson and the product was purchased as secure means of preventing him from accessing kitchen knives pharmaceuticals etc. It is useless!

Ajusta muy bien. No pretende ser otra caja fuerte dentro de una caja fuerte. El cajón es un poco delgado. Pero para organizar cosas en la caja de seguridad funciona muy bien.
