This is good for grating small amounts of coconut. You need to put pressure on the wrist & shoulder joints. If you're person who has joint or arm issues, this is not for you. I would recommend this product.

*** DO NOT BUY*** This thing is a cheap piece of garbage. The metal is thin and not that sharp and the handle is made of very cheap brittle plastic. I suspect their high star rating is from self promotion. Try to find a tool of all metal construction. Scraping out coconut meat is serious business and you need a quality tool. This is just a total waste of your time.

I badly needed something to scrape off small quantities of coconut which Ihad just opened. The hand grater arrived quickly and I was able to remove most of the coconut. It look time because it is done by hand. It is ot automatic. Next time I break open a coconut, I will use this unless Ifind a faster way to do it.

This was great for making fresh coconut for cakes.

Very easy to store and even easier to use to grate fresh coconut.

It Got broken

For those who like to scrape until the buttom of the coconut meat, this fits well.

This tool isn’t good for long duration usage. In my case it broke on the same day it was delivered. Not recommended.
