80 in Steel Tent Poles-Thicken

I bought these to use with an 8' x10' tarp and cord. Made a lean to shade for fishing. Worked very well. Would have liked for stakes but 100 % happy.

Nice solution. I needed two poles for a tarp set up while truck camping. These worked well. Had a big storm come in on my first day and they held up fine. Compact and adjustable by leaving out one or more sections.

I really liked these poles. The pieces screw together, so you don't have to worry about them slipping down after setup. The height is good and the poles are very light. The spikes worked well to hold my tarp grommets, until the wind picked up. I used them to hold up my shade tarp while I gardened during the heatwave last Spring. They were small enough to store in my SUV's storage area, so I could keep my poles and tarp on hand wherever I traveled. Sadly, one of the poles were bent when my husband tromped through our campsite in the dark after a windstorm.

I use these polls to hold up shade cloth on my porch over my vegetables. Three of the poles that I purchased went together fine, but one seems to be kind of stripped, because I can’t tighten the pole all the way without it slipping past that point. They are OK, but they bend in the wind or with any weight on them. I guess they’re OK for light use, but I wouldn’t go camping with these.

These are so convenient because they come apart in sections. They are easy to pack & carry. I used them on a week-long camping trip to hold up an awning. They worked perfectly, even during a few days of rain.

Purchase item for use over picnic table while camping, they were easy to install, very sturdy even in a heavy rain storm, they are light weight and didn't take up a lot of room in my tent box. Ended up purchasing another set.

These are better than I expected. The poles are sturdy and the locking screws hold the poles together tightly. I like the fact that there are no plastic joint parts to break. I will probably buy another set. 4 poles are better than two.

I've been developing my base camp set up and realized that bringing my own shade would ensure my maximum comfort after coming off the mountain. I enjoy the outdoors, enough to know not every camp site had great shade. With that... These poles work as described. They can be used in many different configurations, and they seem to take a plenty tension. One did start to bow just a tad after I put too much tension on it, during my initial testing... but it still works great. I own 2 pairs, but I am planning to purchase another to add a mesh tarp over my car as well, or other tents.
