Never heard of Alpine watch bands but the pictures looked quality and I had a gift card so I tried it out and am very pleased. I had the band installed in a minute or two as it was super easy with the spring bar quick-releases. I went with khaki for my white Henry Archer Havstrom (not sure why this was the combo I wanted in my head) and I think it turned out pretty well. I have a 6.75" wrist and this fit perfectly with room on either side for adjustment. The band is stiff at the beginning but softened up considerably after the first wear. I expect it to keep getting more and more comfortable. I'll update this review if the durability isn't up to snuff.

This is my first time with a Cordura strap. Severely underrated. Quality fit, and finish are surprisingly excellent. Strap was a little stiff (as expected of new straps) but a little gentle bending and massaging gets it to fit just right. The weave has an appearance of dragonscale texture. I will be purchasing more of these in the future.

Quality is great! Double check your sizing, I would have liked it to be a bit larger.

Alpine International continues to crank out beautifully constructed watch bands in a multitude of materials, colors, and styles that are attractively priced and delivered quickly, but the fly in the ointment is unquestionably their sizing. I do not consider an 8" diameter wrist to be unusually large, in fact I'd have to say that it's actually quite average, but that diameter coupled with a 39m or40mm case will leave you with a strap that barely makes it around your wrist which is unfortunate since they could easily make their standard length band a little longer or at least offer a "long" band length option. All buckles are apparently only available in polished stainless steel - Black I.P., Rose Gold, Gun Metal Gray, Yellow Gold, etc. would be welcomed options as well as contrasting thread color options for stitched bands.

this is a very high quality band! I chose the Olive Green color and replaced the leather straps that came on my Timex Men's Expedition North Sierra 40mm Watch - Black Strap Green Dial Silver-Tone Case. It really makes my TImex have the look of a genuine field watch. The leather strap that came with the watch just didn't fit the field watch look nor the color scheme of the dial. I had looked at many field watches and chose this style and color because it looked just like the strap on an expensive Swiss field watch associated with a famous outdoorsman... I am genuinely impressed with the quality. After a couple months of wear, the holes are still perfect. No stretching of them or tearing of them! I love the fact that there is no reinforcement strip, at least not visible on the exterior, just pure olive drab Cordura nylon! This is a great watch band and you won't be disappointed!

Nice looking and easy to install. Once I got the buckle closed it’s difficult to get the end of the strap to go through the first hold-down band, because that first little band is sewn in place very close to the buckle so it takes some severe bending of the pointed end of the strap to get it started and then some extra force to push it through that first little band. If it weren’t sewn in place and free to move out of the way )like every other similar tang buckle strap I’ve ever seen), it would be very simple. I love the color and craftsmanship, but I doubt it will last due to the force needed to buckle the thing

Looks extremely good in hand. Reminds me of the band that came on my old Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical. Now on my Seiko SRPG33. Perfect fit and easy installation. Don't know about durability yet.
