would these help with sweaty hands when using the computer etc?

This are cotton gloves best to be used for cleaning Sterling Silver or if shopping during the Covid period as they wash and dry easily. I would buy the thinner version if I were you. Check the thread count in the products details and pick the lower one. Hope this helps.

Please could you tell me the width of the glove (palm area) and the length of the middle finger? Cm if poss but not necessary.

Hi, palm is 90mm wide and middle finger is 65mm long.

Do these gloves have any elastic/Lycra in them?

That's a good point sold as cotton gloves but definitely a stretch and compression factor and an elasicatedwrist area I would describe them as springy

can these gloves be wash

Yes I have washed them they lose a bit of stretch. I used mine inside out as I had contact dermatitis. There is quite a lot of cloth between the stitching and the body of the glove
