is this one or for a pair?

It is only one, not part of a pair.

What is the truth, I hear it comes as a pair but then I also hear it is single i.e. not a pair?

It is single. Sometimes there is an option to buy two. Honestly unless you are tai boxing one is all you really need for kicking

Does this come as a pair or a single?

Dear Sir, It came in Just a single One! Thank you 🙏🏻
