Good lather, smooth lube; nice, lasting scent that wasn't overpowering or flowery. A dab goes far; this will last a good bit. Smelled great a the heated dish!

Smells great and works great, but it does not smell like leather to me in any way.

UPDATE- The scent has grown on me. Still don't get where the tobacco is, but after using this a few times, the scent is pretty nice. I love TOBS, used it for years, my favorites are Cedarwood and Royal Forest. This one's new to me. It works great, lathers well, excellent shave just like all TOBS shaving creams are. But the scent is just okay, sweet with some cedar and other notes, but nothing really special for me. Not sure where they get tobacco leaf from, smells nothing like tobacco to me.

I've tried pretty much everything in my quest to find a good shaving cream that leaves skin soft and smooth without the heavy smells some product leave. I mean, you're shaving under your nose, so this matters to me. I've tried, and liked, Avene foam and cream, Aveeno, Elemis, and others. . Of all of these, none compare to Taylor of Old Bond. What I especially love is the amount of foam you get from a very small amount, which makes the USD20 cost so economical. I've been using one container for close to 6 months. I shave every day, so cents per day is incredible. With the others, it would take much more product and I'd be out within a month or so with the cream. I mean, Barbasol (which I used exclusively during my 20s) may cost 3 bucks, but it only lasts "several weeks" according to the website. While I'm not bagging on the more accessable brands, you'll notice the difference immediately if you switch. I ain't a shaving snob, it just is what it is. I have sensitive skin as well, and this doesn't bug at all. An amazing product at a great price.

I've used many of the TOBS creams. These are NOT soaps as many have indicated. Tobacco Leaf is a unique scent that I haven't seen before. So, I ordered. Definitely not the scent I was expecting. It's a great scent, but it comes across as more floral than tobacco. Eaton College and Royal Forest are still my reigning favorites though. Lathers well as all TOBS creams do. And, provides a very comfortable shave. TOBS is my #2 favorite brand, and their creams never disappoint. Great value as one tub will last me a very long time, and I use it liberally. A little does goes a long way.

We had bought this shaving cream by accident at Tommy Guns and never looked back! We ordered it from Amazon this time, same price really. It lathers beautifully, it smells great and you don't need much. My husband loves it and I love the close shave it gives him along with the amazing manly scent the room has when he comes out of the shower! We are not a fan of the other scents or feel of shaving creams from this company but for some reason this one is perfect!

Absolutely beautiful scent that lasts all day. Thick, creamy leather that lubricates your shave so well, lathers up great in your mug with just a little water. One of my favourite soaps.

The cream is thick and luxurious with a silky feel which makes the razor glide along your skin when shaving. The scent of tobacco leaf is like a sweet tobacco smell from a pipe, it's actually quite comforting. After shaving I reapply any leftover cream to my face while I clean up. This allows me to enjoy the scent a little longer and the cream moisturises my skin leaving a pleasant smell and zero razor burn. I am keen to try some of the other scents in their range, this is my first TOBS purchase and I am very pleased so far.
