Scratch the last question...which antenna is better this one or a 4 foot firefly

I personally don't like the fiberglass antennas they seem to brake Easey .. trees, freezing rain etc.... the wilsons will last a long time I had one on a truck for over 800,000 before I finally broke it... dual wips will hear better than a single Wilson but the Wilson will get out farther

can this antenna be used on a trailer?

As long as it can be properly grounded, sure. Just mounting it to an aluminum trailer is probably not going to be a sufficient ground though. Will need to go to the frame. Good Luck.
