After a successful quadriceps tendon reconstruction (my 2nd knee replacement and 4th quad surgery), I needed a brace that would keep my leg fully straight for the first six weeks with absolutely no flex. This immobilizer brace has been perfect. It’s far easier to use than a hinged brace—simple to fit, stays secure, and gives the solid, steady support a fresh repair needs. I even bought a second one just for the shower, and it works great there too. Once I reached the six‑week mark, I switched to the hinged brace during the day but kept this immobilizer for sleeping, and it continues to hold my leg comfortably in full extension all night. For anyone recovering from serious quad tendon surgery, this brace has been a huge help. When I ice, which is frequently, i simply open it up and place the ice pad on my knee and then close the Velcro straps. I LOVE THIS BRACE.

I just had surgery for a quad tendon tear. The surgeon ordered 24/7 immobilization for at least 4 weeks. The brace supplied by the doctor’s office has a clunky hinge that is uncomfortable especially during sleep. So, I ordered this one to try out. It actually immobilizes my leg better than the one from the doctor’s office and is more comfortable. When the brace is tightened sufficiently, my leg is firmly fixed at zero degrees flex as ordered by the doctor. It will slip down when walking if not tightened sufficiently. That isn’t a problem for me so far because the doctor does not want me walking at all except for trips to the bathroom.

I broke my knee cap and had to keep my leg completely immobilized for 6+ weeks. I purchased this brace to wear in the shower, so i wouldn't have to use the one I wore in public. I found this brace to be more comfortable and easier to get the proper fit than the one the Dr. gave me. It has 6 strong Velcro straps making it easier to more accurately conform to the shape of my leg. Another major plus - you can take the rods out to wash it. Because of the support and comfort this brace provided, I wound up using this one as my public brace, and my knee healed perfectly! Amazing price. Amazing Quality! Amazing comfort (by comparison)!

It’s fairly good in the comfort area. I broke my patella and could not wear the 110$ crap one from Emerge Ortho. This does allow a slight bending of knee but I couldn’t function without a slight bend. My only problem is it slides down. It’s as if it stretches. I tighten a lot then I get out of car and it slips down. Either it needs heavier duty velcro or it is stretching.

Tore something in my knee, so I needed my knee joint completely immobilized. This brace worked okay. Its comfortable, easy to use, but I really wish the straps were wider for a more snug fit, it does slide up up and down a bit when I stand up, but it works. Its not quite as good as the ones Kaiser would use, but like I said it works. I'm 5-9" 209lb, so the size large fits ok.

It’s a stable and quality product. I’ve been using mine with no problems. Highly recommended!

This is a replacement for a return and is no better. Will not stay tight and on my leg. Velcro loosens does not stay up directly on skin or over pants. Would not recommend to anyone

Way better than the one I received from the hospital, and considerably cheaper. Fits very good and stays in place quit well. The metal flat bars keep my leg straight.

Waste of money. Who the f$*# saz it’s universal? It’s made for kids.
