Perfect Brown on Black Hair Without Bleach!
I’m honestly really impressed with this product and color! My hair is naturally black, and it lifted it beautifully to the perfect Downtown Brown without needing any additional bleach. The color sticks around without fading, which I’m very surprised! It was really easy to use, and it didn’t hurt or irritate my scalp while I was coloring it. The color came out so pretty without looking too red or brassy, and my hair actually felt soft afterward. For the price, I’m seriously impressed with the results. I’ll definitely buy this color again!

Consistent results. Good price.
I have been coloring my hair for 20 years. Feria has always been my choice. This is a white blonde on me. I always get compliments on my color; even my stylist, who colors my hair, tells me not to change it. I have a bob just under my ears, and once I apply it all over, comb through, put on a shower cap to avoid any dripping (which isn't really a concern, but I do it out of caution), and set my timer for 22 minutes. Then rinse in the shower and apply the conditioner that is provided. I always wait 48 hours for the next shampoo. I usually color every 5 weeks. Be careful, though, because if you don't like this color and try to go down a few numbers, you may end up with purple hair. Call L'Oréal first if you need to do that.

Spectacular silver color with incredible shine!
I am completely in love with this hair dye! I had been looking for the perfect gray shade for a while, and L'Oreal Paris Feria's Smokey Silver exceeded all my expectations. The color turns out exactly as promised: a smoky, modern, sophisticated silver that is full of dimension. It is not a flat or boring gray; under the light, you can see beautiful multifaceted highlights.

Safe for Pre-Lightened Hair !!
This review is long, but if you're truly interested in this color and worried about how it may take to treated hair (which I was, I had to hunt for a review on hair that was already bleached before and it was still much darker than mine) then I promise it's worth it!! A briefer review for people who do not care: good product, I found it easy to use (I put all of the steps into a bowl and used a mix of both a brush and my hands), it is messy!! I thought that was just some people being unprepared for how messy hair dye is, but it is a very thin formula that can splatter so easily. There are warnings on the top of the box when you open it to make sure you get all of the product out from each thing, and I did exactly that, so the end result (it was on for a bit longer than 25 minutes, maybe 45 at the most) is the two reds. One is wet, one is dry. I can't say anything about how long it lasts, because I don't really mind having to touch up that much, but do put a towel over your pillow for the first couple days after dyeing. Okay, so I've been bleaching and coloring my own hair at home (with help when needed) for about two years now, and I don't really use box dyes because I love the bright colors of Manic Panic dyes. I tried them for one color and it became my go-to. I've wanted to go to a dark red for a good while, but Manic Panic doesn't have any colors like that that I thought were close to what I wanted. If your end color goal is Lee Chaeryeong from ITZY (when she had red hair), stick with me because that was my goal, and I actually feel pretty happy with the result. My biggest concern when looking for a dye was the fact that box dye is kind of meant to be visible over dark hair. I have light hair, and I didn't want it to be super bright when that wasn't what my goal was. I'm literally ONLY leaving this review because of the fact that I couldn't find ANY that were over pre-treated hair! I found one YouTube review and I decided that that was my sign, so over two days I got the pink out of my hair and dyed it. If you're just looking to see if it'll work over bleached hair, it works perfectly fine (I'm pretty sure, my starting hair wasn't exactly blonde but it was light enough that I am so, so sure it'll work fine), but I did accidentally leave it on for a little more than the instructions say to! Okay, if you're still reading this (honestly I know nobody is but I do not care) and have a bright color you're changing from, this is what I'm here for. So I started with that bright pink in the picture where my face is halfway in frame, and then I tried some at-home color removal tricks to see if they would help; they didn't, so I resorted to shampooing two, maybe three times for long periods and rinsed with hot water. That's where you get to the pictures where I'm holding up the front and then showing the back- not good pictures, but you get the idea. The pink was clinging to the front pieces of my hair, but it had rinsed fine everywhere else, so the last stage of getting my hair prepped to have a dark (and not pinky) red was to use toner on my whole head. I actually don't remember what level of the Wella toner I used, but I think it was either a) exactly the one that people recommend online for blonde, or b) something really close. I left that on for the correct amount of time and rinsed with some still-pink and mostly kind of purple and grey toned hair, which was good enough for me because I just wanted no yellow undertones if possible. That picture is the one where my hair is almost purple and silver. The next two are the results, the wet hair is right after I finished getting the dye out of my hair and the dry one is right after waking up. I KNOW that that was a LOT, but I really need a lot of guidance myself, so if I can kind of help anyone else like that I'd like to try. OK bye

Good quality and acceptable color
The dye is of good quality. Instruction is easy, mixing everything - quick. The color isn't an exact match, but I used it to lighten dark roots, so it turned out fine. Where my hair was already light, the color is richer, beautiful, and pleasing. The smell isn't very strong or unpleasant. The "cream" sits well on my hair, and bleaches quickly. It goes on without leaving any streaks. I have light brown hair. It gives a wonderful shade on already bleached hair (though it doesn't last long, 3-4 washes). My hair didn't suffer much damage—it's within reasonable limits. If you bleach your hair regularly, you know it's impossible to lighten it without some damage. The key is to monitor your hair's condition during the process and not leave the dye on for too long. The exception is if you're experienced, know how your hair reacts to the dye and what it can withstand, and need a bit more time to achieve the desired result. Sometimes I use less time, sometimes more. Depends. I definitely would recommend this product. Just don't expect miracles. You'll only get that specific color if your hair has been pre-lightened. Radiance and shine depend on your camera, filters, and lighting😉 It won't last a month, though it might hold for about two weeks, depending on how often you wash your hair and on how damaged your hair is. It won't ruin your hair (provided you don't leave it on too long and control the whole process). Overall, I trust this company's products. The prices are a bit steep. I have to color my hair twice a month, so I'd prefer something more affordable.

Great product will buy again
This is my second time using this hair dye and I was a dirty blonde before I used this color. This is actually the only color I’ve ever dyed my hair that I’m extremely happy with besides my naturally dirty blonde hair. This color does tend to fade fast even if you only wash it in cold water. It does fade into a rusty copper color. Application was simple just be careful not to get the hair dye on anything cause it ain’t coming out.

Smokey Gray? Not so much
L'Oreal Paris Feria Multi-Faceted Shimmering Permanent Hair Color, Smokey Silver, Pack of 1 Hair Dye Kit One day, maybe I will have smokey silver hair! But for now, not so much. I dyed my hair with this hair dye yesterday after using another product to take off the old hair dye. Well, I was disappointed with the results. It may have been my own fault that the L’Oreal Paris Feria Smokey Gray didn’t work because I put it on directly after taking off the old dye and that was, perhaps, a mistake. Because the color that I came out with is obviously a soft brown and that is not what I was hoping for. I was hoping for the smokey gray that the package shows. Of course, since I did use the other product beforehand to take off the old color, I can’t be sure that its not my own fault this color didn’t work on me. I am going to buy it again in about a month and try it again. But for now I guess I’ll keep my boring brown hair. I do have gray hair naturally if I let the dye grow out and I may do that the next time and see what that looks like. And, then possibly use the smokey gray dye. I’ll have to wait a while though. The Bad: it didn’t work The Best: it might not have worked because I used a product to take off the dye before using this dye. I recommend that if you’re looking for smokey gray you may want to wait a few days after taking off your old color before dying with this product.

I still use it. But…
Is it better than starry night? Not really.. this is a teeny bit less blue in the undertones but it is blue/purple. So jet black.. is not the most black there is. It could be better. It could’ve used a dark red undertone instead, which may have removed the brightness to it for outdoor visibility. Making it slightly warmer but also still rich in color.

I am very happy
Easy process. Happy with colour. Not too red. Colour rinsed out well. No bleeding on your sheets after first application.
