Baosity Banjo 5th String Tuning Peg Key for Banjo Replacement Parts

Ordered this because it was inexpensive for a cheap banjo 5th string tuning machine upgrade. The diameter of the taper is between 9 & 10 mm, tip to base, which is 2mm wider than my existing hole. I will have to ream the hole to fit. This may cut into the fretboard wood, but not worth ordering another one. Measure the existing hole, and if close and if not working with a high quality instrument, go for it. If working on a quality banjo, look elsewhere.

Seems like an ok tuner. My only beef is that the taper hole this requires to fit is kind of weird, not the 9mm I normally see? It would be good to have the taper size listed in the description.EDIT: I apologize, I was wrong (I think). I ordered another from a different brand (although it looks -identical- to this one?) and it's the same size. I think maybe my banjo was overdrilled for something unusual, even though at first glance it's normal. Anyway, for anyone else looking at it, this one measures about 8.7mm in diamter at the thick end.

元々の故障したペグの太さと、このペグの太さが少々違っていたので、バンジョー側の穴を少し広げ打ち込みました。全く問題なく稼働しています。なお、ペグは白いノブだったのですが、旧ノブに付け替えました。
