When I needed to ladle soup from an Instant Pot, and realized I did not have a ladle, I chose this one. The one I ordered is small and if I ordered again I might go up one side, but overall, it serves it purpose nicely. Finish is perfect and it's a little heavy, with a pouring lip, just like I wanted. Easy to clean.

This is very sturdy with a beautiful finish. My only complaint is the punched hole in the handle for hanging is pretty sharp. I wish they would have chamfered the edges. Would buy again.

update: it took me a while to figure out how to use these types of oil separator as the amount of soup and oil must be higher than the inside lip of the separator otherwise the oil just pours right back out. So separate your oil like you normally do with a ladle picking up just the oil... then fill the ladle with soup then pour out the soup slowly in one go... don't tilt the ladle backwards because if the amount of liquid is less than the bottom of that lip, the oil will pass under. now whatever oil and soup you have left, pour it into a cup and repeat the process. Remember that both oil and soup must be higher than the bottom lip of the separator. when you tilt the ladle, the oil stays on top and the soup gets poured out.original review: This ladle is fantastic in that you don't have to use a separate ladle to scoop up the soup and oil into another oil separator. Using this ladle, scoop up the oil as best as you can and dump out the soup and then empty the oil into a mug and repeat until you feel that all the oil has been scooped up. Now it is a one step process instead of multi utensils and other 1 litre oil separator cups. I like this oil separator soup ladle very much and highly recommend it over any other oil separator devices.

Works well. I wish the handle was bent a little. The whole spoon finish is good and is light weight.

Heat and constant stirring made my hand numb because it was so heavy. The quality was great though.
