This is a really attractive and useful salt and pepper grinder set. I really like the size...I had bigger ones before, and one tipped over on the stove and the glass bottom broke. So a big bonus of these is a more stable size that feels great in your hands and a really clever wooden base that keeps them from getting knocked over. I actually bought these twice. The first time was as a Christmas gift for my daughter's new home, and the second time was when my larger set broke. I looked all over for a replacement, and when I mentioned it to my daughter, she said this set I had bought for her was really nice and I should just get a set for myself. So instead of trying to replace just the the salt grinder I had that broke, I went ahead and ordered this set for myself, and I"m so glad I did! They are easy to turn, and I feel less like I might drop one with the shorter stature. The stainless steel tops looks great in my kitchen, and I love the smart wooden base, as well. I think it's a great value, and I'm so glad I got them...twice!

These work great and are so attractive. You can adjust coarseness and they are easy to fill.

I purchased 4" Peugeot - Paris u'Select Manual Pepper Mill - Adjustable Grinder per Wirecutter / Cooks Illustrated recommendation a few years ago. It looks nice, but in practice it is a PIA and is super finicky. When it works, its great- but it's always giving me issues and needs adjustment. Additionally the 4" model constantly needs refilling. I purchased these on a whim to test a cheap grinder set to use in hospitality settings (hotel and airbnb type stuff) and have been using everyday for months now. These BLOW AWAY the fancy Peugeot. They grind consistently and without issue every time. They are adjustable. And Despite the price they also look and feel pretty decent quality too. They look great with my stainless appliances on the counter. The glass allows me to see fill level easily and they are ample in size so last a while without the need for refill. Highly recommend.

The grinders feel solid in hand with a nice stainless steel finish, and I like being able to see the fill level through the glass container. Ergonomic for sure. The included wooden tray is also useful since it catches the leftover salt and pepper bits instead of making a mess on the counter. The adjustable grind setting actually works well. I use a finer grind for salt and a coarser setting for pepper, and it stays where I set it instead of constantly shifting. The ceramic grinder handles peppercorns smoothly without jamming, which was a problem with my previous set. Refilling is simple too. The opening is wide enough that I can pour peppercorns straight from the bag without needing a funnel. The only small downside is that because the grinders are shorter, you need a little more effort when grinding a larger amount of pepper. Not a big issue for any normal cooking/use and looks great on the dining table. It looks good, works consistently, and feels much more durable than cheaper grinders I’ve used before. Overall, this is a great quality set for the price.

These look great and so far seem well made. I am happy with them. I had been looking for a set that did not leave a mess where they were set down. These are perfect for my use.

I love these grinders and especially the wooden holder that fits them perfectly. It is simple to adjust from course grind to fine grind. But after less than four months the wide silver band that you twist to grind has broken free from the grinder so that I must hold it by the narrow black plastic band at the very top. I had hoped it would last longer.

Plus grand que je ne me représentait mais qualité au RDV, les récipients en verre éliminent déjà bien le plastique et le dessus en métal également. Rendu satisfaisant à table, un peu grand pour une table de fête mais très bien pour le quotidien.

Viene muy bien protegidos en la caja, la bandeja en papel de burbuja y los molinillos dentro de un plástico blandito con dos agujeros a medida. Están muy bien, aún no los he probado, pero de aspecto me gustan mucho. Son muy bonitos, modernos y prácticos. Girando el tornillo del molinillo se regula el tamaño de la pimienta y sal. La bandeja es de un tono más claro que en la web pero bonita igualmente.

It's very useful for grinding fine pepper and sea salt, keeps the freshness intact and very good quality. It's very comfortable to use and have ideal size for the table. I got at a very good price.

Unser altes Set von einer bekannten Marke ist kaputt gegangen. Dieses ist ein wunderbarer Ersatz - funktioniert einwandfrei und sieht fast identisch aus. Wir sind zufrieden.
