Sharp, strong, cheap, reliable, lightweight, easy to use.

This axe/hatchet works very well, seems well put togeer. It was so sharp that I was able to cut a package of bacon in half through the plastic with one swipe. I didn't feel like getting my knife out this worked fine.

Good little camp hatchet. Splits smaller wood fine, does not come very sharp, which I expected for the price.

I do love this little small outdoor wood axe. It is small enough to put away with the camping supplies. PROS: love the look of the axe. Its a clean looking axe. the value for it is great as well. It's balanced, ease to hold and strike. The blade is pretty sharp and does the job with smaller wood. Super easy to use. CONS: Given that it is smaller, it does struggle a bit with chipping larger pieces of wood. Do not expect to chop down a tree or even put much damage into a tree stump. More-so expect to use this to break up bigger pieces of already cut campfire wood in to smaller pieces. For that use case, its great.

Lightweight durable handle works great even for somebody who has large hands sharpness when we got it was perfect. We have sharpened it since then it does split very well even larger logs.

The hatchet was just what was needed. The handkerchief is good construction. The b balances of the handle to bkade was spot on. It was shape. Bought to split would chunks down smaller to build a fire. Even came with a protective cover which is a plus so no one gets hurt when not in use.so if you looking for a small hatch this is the one.

Great price for virtually the same axe Husq sells. The head feels lighter than advertised but I can't guarantee it is. The edge on the cutter could be better. But a quick run with a file and this little axe cuts what I need. I use it to drive my wedges in and clean up smaller trunks. Or to mark my cut. I wish I had gotten one slightly longer. But that's not the product fault. Update. I've owned this for a year. I've literally tried to wreck it. It's hit a carbide chisel and got a couple nicks in the blade. I filed them out and it cuts great. I hammer wedges and a carbide cutter with this hatchet. It's still going strong in full use as a Wildland fire fighter and pro arborist in off season. You can't beat the price. Anybody with a negative review did not get the same axe I got or severely abused it. I've only oiled and sharpened mine.
