Solid performance with a wireless keyboard/mouse combo
This switch has been working great for me. I have a Logitech MK300 wireless keyboard/mouse combo. Before buying the ATEN 4-port KVM switch I did a lot of research to make sure the switch will work with my wireless keyboard/mouse combo. It works great for me as long as I have the dongle plugged in the usb connector for keyboard on the switch. I can switch using the keyboard hotkey sequence SCRL LOCK + SCRL LOCK + 1,2,3, or 4 + Enter. I have Windows 8.1 running on one of the laptops and the other one has Windows 7 running on it while the third PC is running Windows Server 2012 R2. I can switch to and from any of my computers. Thanks ATEN! The KVM cables for the monitor are marked with 1, 2, 3, or 4 which makes it very easy to know what number to use to switch to any of the machines. I'm not using audio sharing to can't comment on that.

Does the job, but flaky
It's fine, except that if you don't complete the switching sequence correctly, the KVM goes into this stuck mode, where you can't change the machine, nor can you use any of your input devices on the machine you're stuck on. You have to cut power to the switch in order to get it out of this state. Since I currently only have two machines on the switch, and they're both on my desk, it's not that big of a deal. But I bought it so I could attach four, and to unplug the USB on all four when this happens would be a pain in the ... well, it would just suck.

Not compatible with Logiteck MK550 wireless keyboard/mouse combo
Works ok but very difficult to get into mode to do firmware upgrade - was never able to do so, even on a USB wired keyboard. Product was not compatible with my Logitech MK550 keyboard/mouse combo with a unifying receiver - regardless of which mode used to switch ports (Ctrl-Ctr-Enter or Scroll-Scroll-Enter).
