Amps Up the Flavoring Power of MSG
If you regularly use the umami-powerhouse MSG in your cooking (and really you should), this is the other secret ingredient you should have around. Not an amino acid like MSG , Sodium Inosinate and Sodium Guanylate used in very small amounts work to amplify MSG's flavor-boosting properties (the word is "synergism", even that of naturally-occurring MSG (from things like tomato paste or fermented foods). This mixture (I+G) is expensive, but you use it at a ration of 3 parts I+G to 97 parts MSG, so a little goes a long way. I keep mine pre-mixed in the kitchen.

My new favorite ingredient
I have been looking for a source of disodium 5-ribonucleotides for years now, for use in cooking, and I am so glad to have found some here. The addition of 2% of the I+G mixture to 98% monosodium glutamate definitely improves the overall umami impact to the point that I cannot now conceive of using MSG alone in most applications. I will add a little bit of this mixture to dips, salad dressings, and meat dishes, and I don't think I will be going back. Umami-fortified dips and dressings certainly helps my family eat more vegetables, and the increased umami punch helps my wife get more meat in her diet, which is important because she chronically doesn't get adequate nutrients like protein and iron. Better than eating ramen noodles which is what she habitually reaches for! And since 45 g of the I+G mixture will effectively boost the umami power of over 2 kilograms of MSG at a 2% mixture, this is a real bargain, almost feel like I am stealing with the purchase I made. A very satisfied customer.

Wow! A MUST HAVE for home chefs
This is an amazing product that, having now tried it, I'm shocked I didn't have it in my home cook arsenal before. Simply amazing, provides a depth of savoriness that MSG can't touch. To be clear, I still see value in MSG, but I hope to never be without this disodium ribonucleotide product again in my life. I got to say there aren't enough superlatives in the universe to say how good this stuff is. First off... The shipping was fast, four days faster than Amazon said it would be. It also came with a special note that truly touched our hearts :-) Thanks for that! Ok, on to brass tacks... My special, not-so-secret anymore, spice blend just got taken to a new level of awesomeness. It consists of garden Rosemary dried in the dehydrator, orange peel with the pectin removed by pectinase treatment and then dried, red Sichuan peppercorn, mace, black Cambodian Kampot peppercorn, mild Korean gochugaru red pepper flakes, San Marzano tomato paste dried in the dehydrator, MSG, and now this disodium inosinate/guanylate. This last ingredient has taken my mix from simply otherworldly to flat out heavenly. Thank you so much for making this product available to home cooks, for the fast shipping, the professional packaging, and especially the special touch :-)

Umami explosion
It’s like MSG x10. I mixed 3g with 97g of MSG for a 3% solution. Then, I mixed 90% salt and 10% of the 3% solution together to produce 0.3% concentration like the label says. I suspect you can go higher on the concentration if you want a more intense flavor.

If you like MSG, you'll love this.
If you like the umami kick from adding some msg to your food, this has a multiplying effect with the msg. Add a dash of each and umami blast your dishes.
