Universal and gets the job done
Needed this to use on a R134 A/C manifold gauge set, since my 2017 Silverado requires the 1234yf refrigerant. Worked well with the manifold gauge set, which I got from Harbor freight. Everything fit my trucks connections and the 1234yf refrigerant cans as well.

I needed to adapt my old gauge set to the r1234yf fittings. There was no problem with monitoring and adding freon.

I am very pleased with these. I am a business owner of an automotive repair business and I have used these quite a few times. They don't leak, they seal just fine. After about 20 uses they are still functioning correctly. They feel very solid and built to quality. Couldn't ask for better for the price point.

Great set except for the can tap valve
I have been using this set alot in Florida. Works great and they seal completely to Schrader valves. The can tap valve is not good as it does not fit my a/c gauges nor does it fit any adapters i have purchased.

Not compatible with Enviro-Guard style hoses
While I do like the price point of this kit, the quality accessories and the professional design of the coupler body, I am having issues with assembling these couplers to professional hoses. Being a mobile HVAC professional, I use Robinair Enviro-Guard style charging hoses, manifold gauges and couplers. Even though the 1/4" SAE adapter on these couplers can be easily removed to fit them onto Enviro-Guard hoses, the body of these couplers is not M14 machined to accept them. This kit does come with male 1/2" ACME to female 1/4" SAE adapters, which creates another potential leak point and adds at least a half inch of non-flexible length to the end of the charging hose. In summary, these couplers and accessories are sturdy, economically priced and should perform well if adapting a DIY manifold set. However, they are not compatible for use with professional R134-a equipment without downgrading hoses and/or using adapters. I wound up buying a pair of M14 female to M12 male adapters from another seller, which these should probably already come with.

Item was exactly as described and sold at very good price.
Everything worked as advertised. I was able to adapt my AC hose manifold from R134 to R1234YF and add a can to my wifes Tahoe. She is very happy with the results.
