An excellent higher grade replacement for "factory recommended" ATF.
I did a lot of research because I'm just a gear head kind of guy and I wanted to know why a company such as Hyundai, for example, recommends their own brand ATF for their transmissions. The short answer is simply for profit. Most of the manufacturer brands' specs are very well buried or completely unavailable. When I could find them, they were invariably poorer than this brand, and generally more expensive. I wish I could elaborate on the specs I am referencing but I didn't keep notes. Mostly viscosity stability versus operating temperature and similar esoterica. A quart of this solved the badly slipping transmission on my 2005 Hyundai Tiburon so I am very happy. Of course, since it was a quart low, it is possible that many ATFs would have brought the same result. But my curiosity taught me that this is a superior product and worth buying for that reason alone.
